Dreamy Dragonflies and Botanicals with the Scalloped Wishes Bundle

Today I'm sharing a birthday card and coordinating name tag that showcase just how versatile the Scalloped Wishes Bundle truly is. From the delicate lacework details to the fussy cut vellum florals, this set has so much to offer!

For the card front, I started with a Basic White cardstock base and covered it with the Berry Botanicals Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper. The soft lavender grid pattern on this vellum is just dreamy, and it sets the perfect tone for the whole design. Delicate dragonflies from the Scalloped Wishes stamp set were stamped in Secret Sea ink and scattered across the background, adding a whimsical, garden-in-summer feel. A few Sunset Sparkle Sequins were added throughout for a subtle, sparkling finish.

The sentiment label is where things really come together. I stamped the "Happy Birthday" sentiment from the Scalloped Blooms stamp set in Bubble Bath ink, then added the intricate lace border detail from the Scalloped Wishes stamp set, also in Bubble Bath, around the outer edge of the label. The label was cut out using the Scalloped Wishes die, and the inner detailed oval was cut from Bubble Bath Pastel Shimmer Specialty Paper using the detailed Scalloped Wishes die, giving it that gorgeous layered, doily-like look.

To finish the focal piece, I fussy cut flowers from the Berry Botanicals Vellum Specialty DSP and adhered them onto the sentiment label using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. A touch of Wink of Stella on the flower centers adds just the right sparkle and dimension. The whole bouquet clusters beautifully to the left of the sentiment, creating a lush, layered floral arrangement.

Inside the card, I kept things coordinated and elegant. The sentiment from the Framed All Around stamp set was stamped in Bubble Bath ink, and more dragonflies from the Scalloped Wishes stamp set were added in Secret Sea ink to carry the theme throughout.

Now let's talk about the name tag, because this little beauty shows just how many possibilities the Scalloped Wishes Bundle opens up!

Using Basic White cardstock as the base, I cut the scalloped oval shape and layered it with Hydrangea Hue 2026-2028 In-Color Pearlized Specialty Paper for a soft, pearlized glow. The dot border detail was stamped in Hydrangea Hue ink to frame the design beautifully. The name "PAM" was cut using the Mini Alphabet dies from the Hydrangea Hue Pearlized Specialty Paper, giving the letters a lovely shimmery finish. Fussy cut vellum florals from the Berry Botanicals DSP were clustered on the left side of the tag, tying it perfectly back to the card it accompanies.

Welcoming Garden Mother's Day

This cute card was made using the Welcoming Garden All-Inclusive Kit.

With the Welcoming Garden All-Inclusive Kit you can create your own charming, garden-themed cards. The kit features precut, colorful flowers and unique garden gates. This kit is perfect for crafting heartfelt cards.

For this card, I cut the front of one of the cards included in the kit to 5 1/4" x 4". This panel was adhered onto a Pool Party cardstock panel and then onto a Basic White cardstock card base.

This kit provided several individual floral die-cuts that were adhered onto the card front using the included Stampin' Dimensionals. As a side note, this kit also included adhesive and a clear stamp block.

The "hello" sentiment on the front of the gate was included in the kit and came in three languages for you to choose from.

Brushed Brass Butterflies and Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies were added for accent.

Both the fence and gate, which were included in the kit, were stamped with a wood slat stamp from the Welcoming Garden stamp set using Crumb Cake ink. The Welcoming Garden stamp set, as well as, a Crumb Cake Stampin' Spot were included in the kit.

As you can see, the gate actually does open. The sentiment, inside the gate, is from one of the Welcoming Garden stamp set and has been stamped in Crumb Cake ink. The sentiment panel is one of the included die-cuts.

For the inside of the card, a Pool Party cardstock panel was adhered to the card base and then topped with a Basic White cardstock panel.

The sentiment is from the Flower Cart stamp set and the butterfly is from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set. Both have been stamped in Pool Party ink.

Mother's Day Card - Day 1

For several years, I have been making Mother's Day cards and table placeholders for the Long Term Care Unit at the hospital where I work. Over the next few days I will be sharing with you the Fold Back Pop-up cards that I made for them for Mother's Day this year.

This first card was made using the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper(DSP), a Gorgeous Grape card base and the Pearlescent Specialty Paper.

The butterfly was made by coloring a piece of the Pearlescent Specialty Paper

using Gorgeous Grape and Misty Moonlight ink. Once colored, the butterfly was cut out using one of the detailed Brilliant Wings dies and the Stampin' Cut and Emboss machine. The detailed butterfly was then adhered to a solid butterfly that had been cut out using the coordinating solid Brilliant Wings butterfly die and Hydrangea Hill DSP.

The flowers on the front panel were fussy cut using the Hydrangea Hill DSP. The sentiment on the inside of the card is stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink and from the Strong & Beautiful stamp set. A Square Vellum Doily was adhered to the inside panel of the card using Multipurpose Liquid glue. The sentiment panel was adhered onto the Square Vellum Doily using Stampin' Dimensionals.

This second card was made using the Dandy Garden DSP along with the Dragonfly Bundle. The Dragonfly Bundle includes the Dragonfly Garden stamp set and coordinating Dragonflies Punch.

The dragonflies on the front panel were cut out using the Dandy Garden DSP and the Dragonflies Punch. They were adhered onto the card front using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

The dragonfly in the center of the card was stamped in Tuxedo Black ink onto Vellum cardstock and then heat embossed with Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder.

All of the dragonflies were colored with Wink of Stella Glitter.

The sentiment for this card is from the Timeless Tulips and Hydrangea Haven stamp sets. The sentiments were stamped in Mossy Meadow ink.
