A Little Spooky: BOO!

It’s time to add a little spooky fun to your Halloween cardmaking! This BOO card combines the classic Halloween colors of Basic Black, Silver, and Basic White with the creepy-crawly charm of the Frightfully Fun Designer Series Paper.

The card base is made with Basic Black cardstock, layered with a Silver Foil Sheet to add a touch of shine. The top layer features the fabulous spiderweb design from the Frightfully Fun Designer Series Paper, creating the perfect spooky background.

For the focal point, I created the word BOO using the Luxe Alphabet & Numbers Hot Foil Dies, Silver Opal Stampin' Hot Foil, and Basic White cardstock. The silver opal foil gives the letters a beautiful, almost ghostly shine that really stands out against the dark spiderweb background.

Of course, every good Halloween card needs a spider! The spider was cut from Basic Black cardstock using the Web of Fun Dies and then adhered with Black Stampin' Dimensionals. I love how the raised spider adds a fun bit of dimension and makes it look like it’s crawling right across the web!

To finish the front, I scattered Silver Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Sequins across the card. They add just the right amount of sparkle without taking away from the spooky design.

A Spooky Surprise Inside

The inside of the card continues the Halloween theme with a Basic White cardstock panel. The sentiment and cloud of bats are from the Oh My Fright stamp set and were stamped in Basic Black Hybrid ink.

I love carrying the Halloween theme from the front of the card to the inside. The little flock of bats adds the perfect finishing touch and makes the inside just as much fun as the outside!

This card is a great reminder that Halloween cards don't have to be complicated to make a big impact. A little silver foil, a spooky spiderweb, a creepy spider, and plenty of sparkle are all you need to create a fun and frightfully fabulous BOO!
