Spooky Sweet Accordion Fold Card

I know I have said this previously, however I really am having too much fun playing with the Spooky Sweet Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP).

This Accordion Fun Fold card was inspired by a card made by Patty Bennett and was made using the Spooky Sweet Specialty DSP.

The front of the card has been backed with a piece of Basic Black cardstock, then a Petunia Pop Two-Tone cardstock panel followed by one of the Spooky Sweet Specialty DSP panel cut-apart scenes.

The fairy and the boiling cauldron are some of the pre-cut images from the Spooky Sweet Specialty DSP.

A Pool Party Watercolor Pencil was used to make the fairy dust coming from the fairies ward. Wink of Stella was added to the fairy dust to blend out the color and give it a little bit of transparency and sparkle.

Shimmer Star Foam Stickers were added to accent the fairy dust and the potion bubbling in the cauldron.

The sentiment is from the Spooky Halloween stamp set and has been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

Here's a look at the card when it is opened up.

All of the images are either pre-cut from the Spooky Sweet Specialty DSP or have been fussy cut.

The bats are from the Halloween Memories Scrapbook Workshop Kit.

The sentiments are all from the Spooky Halloween Stamp set.

The card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

For the back of the card, the sentiment from the Fright Night stamp set was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto a label from the Foiled Frames and Labels Ephemera Pack.

This label was adhered to a Basic Black cardstock panel and then adhered onto the back of the end of the scene.

White Shimmer Star Foam Stickers that had been colored with a Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends were added to the label.

Halloween Blog Hop

Welcome to the Team Stamp It Groups Halloween Blog Hop!

Whether you hopped onto my blog from one of my teammates or started with my blog, I'm awfully glad you "hopped" by.

For today's blog hop, I have made a card using the Spooky Sweet Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP).

Crafting for Halloween is a treat when you use the Spooky Sweet Specialty DSP.

The Spooky Sweet 12" x 12" Specialty DSP includes 12 sheets (2 each of 5 double-sided designs and 2 sheets of single-sided precut images) pattern paper, precut images, cut-apart scenes and elements. This DSP is perfect for creating cards, tags and gift packaging for Halloween goodies, accents for scrapbooks, or other spooky-cute paper crafts.

This card begins with a Basic Black cardstock card base, followed by a Gorgeous Grape Two-Tone cardstock panel. The next panel is from the Spooky Sweet Specialty DSP. The top panels are also from the Spooky Sweet DSP and have been backed with Gorgeous Grape Two-Tone cardstock.

The fairy bear, mummy hippo and candy corn are all from the pre-cut images included in the Spooky Sweet Specialty DSP. The fairy bear was adhered to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The sentiment is from the Spooky Halloween stamp set and has been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto a piece of Spooky Sweet Specialty DSP.

Purple Shimmer Star Foam Stickers were added for accent.

Here's a look at the inside of the card.

A Gorgeous Grape Two-Tone cardstock panel was adhered onto the Basic Black cardstock card base, followed by a Basic White cardstock panel.

The sentiment is from the Words For The Season stamp set and has been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

The candy corn are all from the pre-cut images included in the Spooky Sweet Specialty DSP.
