Welcoming Garden Mother's Day

This cute card was made using the Welcoming Garden All-Inclusive Kit.

With the Welcoming Garden All-Inclusive Kit you can create your own charming, garden-themed cards.  The kit features precut, colorful flowers and unique garden gates.  This kit is perfect for crafting heartfelt cards.

For this card, I cut the front of one of the cards included in the kit to 5 1/4" x 4".  This panel was adhered onto a Pool Party cardstock panel and then onto a Basic White cardstock card base.

This kit provided several individual floral die-cuts that were adhered onto the card front using the included adhesive.  As a side note, this kit also included Dimensionals and a clear stamp block.

The sentiment on the front of the gate has been stamped using the Floral Cart stamp set with the included Crumb Cake ink spot onto Basic Beige cardstock.  The sentiment was cut out using the Mixed Labels dies. After the sentiment was cut out, Crumb Cake ink was added along the edges with a Sponge Dauber.

Fine Sparkle Adhesive-Backed Gems (retired) were added for accent.

For the inside of the card, a Pool Party cardstock panel was adhered to the card base and then topped with a Basic White cardstock panel.

The butterfly is from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set and has been stamped in Calypso Coral ink.

I hope you enjoyed my card for today!

Welcoming Garden Gate Mother's Day

This cute card was made using the Welcoming Garden All-Inclusive Kit.

With the Welcoming Garden All-Inclusive Kit you can create your own charming, garden-themed cards.  The kit features precut, colorful flowers and unique garden gates.  This kit is perfect for crafting heartfelt cards.

The Gate

The gate was stamped with a wood grain stamp from the Welcoming Garden stamp set using Crumb Cake ink.  The Welcoming Garden stamp set, as well as, a Crumb Cake Stampin' Spot were included in the kit.

The sentiment, from the Floral Cart stamp set, has been stamped in Crumb Cake ink onto Basic Beige cardstock. The sentiment label was cut out once using Old Olive cardstock and then again using Basic Beige cardstock. Before adding the Basic Beige panel to the Old Olive leaf panel, Crumb Cake ink was sponged along the edges of the Basic Beige panel to give it a more rustic look.

The Path

As you can see, the gate actually does open.

This kit provided several individual floral and the bird house die-cuts that were adhered onto the card front using the included Stampin' Dimensionals.  As a side note, this kit also included adhesive and a clear stamp block.

Blue Skies and the Bees

The final inside panel of this card has plenty of room to write your message to the receiver.

Tiny Bee Trinkets were added randomly to this panel.

I hope you enjoyed my card for today!

The "hello" sentiment on the front of the gate was included in the kit and came in three languages for you to choose from.

Brushed Brass Butterflies and Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies were added for accent.
Both the fence and gate, which were included in the kit, were stamped with a wood slat stamp from the Welcoming Garden stamp set using Crumb Cake ink.  The Welcoming Garden stamp set, as well as, a Crumb Cake Stampin' Spot were included in the kit.

As you can see, the gate actually does open.  The sentiment, inside the gate, is from one of the Welcoming Garden stamp set and has been stamped in Crumb Cake ink. The sentiment panel is one of the included die-cuts.
For the inside of the card, a Pool Party cardstock panel was adhered to the card base and then topped with a Basic White cardstock panel.

The sentiment is from the Flower Cart stamp set and the butterfly is from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set.  Both have been stamped in Pool Party ink.

I hope you enjoyed my card for today!

Grace's Garden Center Step card with Easel

I have had several people ask me for instructions on how I made the Grace's Garden card that I posted on May 3, 2020.  Click here to see the post.
This Center Step with Easel template uses a 5 1/2" x 11" cardstock base.
I have attached the picture below for all of the score lines and cut lines.
Using your trimmer or a cutting blade measure up from the short edge of the card base 1" and over 1 1/4" on the long edge, cut the card base from 1" to 5 1/4".  Repeat on other long side.  See template above.

On the long side of the card base, score from the edge to the 1 1/4" cut line at 1", 2" and 5 1/4".  Repeat on other side. See template above.

On the long side of the card base, score between the two cut lines in the center of the card base at 4 1/2".  See template above.
On the long side of the card base, score all the way across at 8 1/2".  See template above.
Fold all the score lines as follows: The 1", 4 1/4" and 5 1/4" score lines are mountain folds.  The 2" score line is a valley fold.  The 8 1/2" score line should be folded towards the front of the card.  See picture above.
Use a bone folder to make the folds crisp.
To help the card to stay upright, I scored the base of the small yellow flowers on the front of the card at 1/4" and adhered the base of the flower to the easel using Tear and Tape Adhesive.  These flowers can lay flat when the card is
collapsed for inserting in an envelope, when the card is opened the
small yellow flowers can be popped back up.
