Bloom Boutique Mother's Day Card #3

There’s something so soft and uplifting about this Mother’s Day card—perfect for celebrating the beauty and grace of the special women in our lives.

This beautiful card was inspired by a card made by Gail Ellis.

The design begins with the lovely Bloom Boutique Specialty Designer Series Paper, layered over a Barely Blush cardstock panel, which sets the tone with its delicate floral pattern and subtle elegance. The Crisp Cantaloupe base panel, creates a gentle backdrop that feels both fresh and timeless.

The real focal point is the die-cut arrangement created with the Petals of Beauty dies and the new 2026-2028 In-Color Cardstock. The combination of soft Barely Blush blooms, leafy Peaceful Pine greenery, and that intricate Crisp Cantaloupe branch detail adds wonderful dimension and texture. It’s a simple composition, but it draws the eye beautifully and gives the card a handcrafted, boutique feel.

Across the center, a band of Bloom Boutique Specialty DSP anchors the design and highlights the sentiment. The “Happy Mother’s Day” greeting, from the retired Strong and Beautiful stamp set, is clean and elegant, perfectly framed to stand out without overpowering the rest of the card.

To finish it off, I added Crisp Cantaloupe Butterflies from the 2026–2028 In-Colors. These tiny accents bring just the right touch of shimmer and movement, tying everything together while adding a bit of whimsy.

This card is a wonderful reminder that sometimes a soft color palette, layered textures, and a few thoughtful details are all you need to create something truly special.

Bloom Boutique Card CASE'd from the New Catalog

This card is a beautiful example of how a great layout and gorgeous paper can do all the work for you. I CASE’d this design from the front cover of the May–August 2026 Catalog, and it was such a fun way to bring the look to life with my own supplies.

The star of the card is the Bloom Boutique Specialty Designer Series Paper, arranged in a pinwheel-style pattern with softly scalloped edges cut out using the Scalloped Blooms dies. The mix of delicate florals and warm peach tones creates a fresh, cheerful feel that’s perfect for celebrating Mom. The layered design adds just the right amount of interest without overwhelming the eye.

To bring everything together, I wrapped a Peaceful Pine ribbon across the center and tied it into a simple bow for a touch of texture and contrast. The sentiment, heat embossed in gold, adds an elegant focal point and pairs beautifully with the soft color palette.

A few Hydrangea Hue 2026-2028 In-Color butterfly embellishments finish off the card, adding dimension and a light, whimsical touch. They’re the perfect little detail to make the design feel complete.

This is a great reminder that inspiration is everywhere—sometimes all it takes is a catalog cover to spark your creativity!

Extraordinary Floral Birthday

This card was made using the beautiful Irresistible Designs Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) along with the Foiled Frames and Labels Ephemera Pack.

The Irresistible Designs Specialty DSP has UV-coated patterns that resist ink, making it perfect for emboss-resist techniques. You just apply ink and the pattern pops out. It's the easiest way to get a heat-embossed look--no embossing powder or heat tool needed.

For this card, I removed the Foil Frame from the Foil Frames and Labels sheet. Using the foiled arch frame negative that was leftover, I lightly taped this to the Irresistible Designs Specialty DSP. Once taped on, using a Blending Brush I added Azure Afternoon ink to the inside of the frame. After the inside of the frame was colored, the foiled arch frame negative was removed and the Gold Foiled Arch Frame was adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. This panel was adhered onto an Azure Afternoon panel and then onto the Basic White cardstock card base.

The flowers are from the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape that has been backed with Basic White cardstock and then cut out using the coordinating Extraordinary Flora die.

The butterflies are from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set and have been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Basic White cardstock. Once stamped they were colored using Dark Fresh Freesia and Light Strawberry Slush Stampin' Blends. The butterflies were cut out using the coordinating Beautiful Butterflies dies.

The sentiment is from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set and has been stamped onto Basic White cardstock using Azure Afternoon ink. Once stamped it was cut out using one of the Beautiful Butterflies dies.

Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels were added to the card front for accent.

An Azure Afternoon cardstock panel was adhered to the inside of the card, followed by a Basic White cardstock panel.

The sentiment is from the retired Sunny Sentiments stamp set and has been stamped in Azure Afternoon ink.

The butterfly, in the lower right corner, is from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set, has been stamped in Azure Afternoon ink.
