Autumn Glow – Autumn Theme Blog Hop

Welcome to our Autumn Theme Blog Hop! I’m excited to share this quick and easy autumn card featuring warm Cajun Craze tones, beautiful gold accents, and lots of fall foliage.

For the card base, I used Cajun Craze cardstock. I added a panel of Gold Foil Sheet, followed by a Cajun Craze cardstock panel. The gold border adds just the right amount of elegance to this warm autumn design.

The beautiful gold leaves were created using the Botanical Glow Hot Foil Dies with Gold Hot Foil. The foiled foliage makes a gorgeous background and gives the card a rich, elegant autumn feel without requiring a lot of extra work.

For the focal point, I used a piece from the Harvest & Holly Mix & Match Specialty Ephemera Pack. The pretty autumn floral design and the “Hello Autumn” greeting made creating the focal point quick and easy. I added several acorns from the Harvest Hues Mix & Match Ephemera Pack, layering them around the focal piece for added dimension and interest.

A few Gold Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems finish off the front of the card with a touch of sparkle.

Inside the Card

I kept the inside simple with a Basic White cardstock panel and added a coordinating flower arrangement from the Harvest Hues Mix & Match Ephemera Pack. It gives the inside a finished look while leaving plenty of room for a personal message.

Quick & Easy Autumn Card

This card is a great example of how Mix & Match Ephemera can make cardmaking quick and easy while still creating a beautiful, layered design. Add some hot-foiled foliage, a few embellishments, and you have an elegant autumn card in no time!
