Scenic Coast Birthday Card

There’s something timeless about the quiet beauty of the coast—soft waves, glowing sunsets, and drifting seabirds. This handmade birthday card captures that peaceful seaside magic in a serene, celebratory way.

The design features a vibrant sunset of coral, pink, and golden orange fading into deep blue, created with the soon to be available Scenic Coast Specialty Designer Series Paper for a rich, cohesive look.

A sailboat, from the soon to be released, Sunset Coast Bundle glides across the water, while vellum seagulls add lightness above. Below, shimmering seashells made from Iridescent Sunset Shimmer Vellum bring subtle texture and glow.

Sunset Sparkle Sequins add a touch of shine, and the “Happy Birthday” sentiment finishes the card with warmth and charm.

Perfect for ocean lovers, this card is a simple, beautiful reminder to pause and enjoy life’s special moments.

Rolling Waves Birthday Card

Bring the calming beauty of the shoreline to life with this serene handmade birthday card. Created on a Crumb Cake cardstock base, the design captures that perfect moment where ocean waves meet sandy beach.

Using the Rolling Waves Bundle, the water was stamped onto Pool Party cardstock with Summer Splash ink, creating rich, layered depth. Die-cut waves in Basic White and Summer Splash, highlighted with a touch of Wink of Stella, adds movement and a frothy, realistic touch.

The “wet sand” effect—heat embossed with VersaMark ink and Clear Embossing Powder—adds a subtle shine that mimics the look of freshly washed shoreline.

Delicate seashells, hand-colored with Timid Tiger, Petal Pink, and Pretty in Pink Stampin’ Blends and lightly accented with Crumb Cake ink, bring warmth and natural detail to the scene.

Dewdrops Embellishments (available soon in the new May-August 2026 Catalog) are scattered across the design, adding a fresh, glistening effect—like glass floats left behind by the retreating tide.

Finished with a soft “Happy Birthday” sentiment and a coordinating inside message, from the Rolling Waves stamp set, this card is a peaceful coastal escape—perfect for celebrating someone special.

Happy Hibiscus Birthday

This beautiful card was made using the Happy Hibiscus Hybrid Embossing Folder.

This card starts with a Basic White cardstock card base, followed by a Secret Sea cardstock panel.

The top panel, began as a Basic White cardstock panel, this panel was embossed using the Happy Hibiscus Hybrid Embossing Folder. Once embossed, the panel was colored using Daffodil Delight, Cloud Cover and Calypso Coral ink along with small Blending Brushes.

The three hibiscus in the center of the card were embossed and cut out at the same time using the Happy Hibiscus Hybrid Embossing Folder along with the coordinating Happy Hibiscus dies and Basic White cardstock. These flowers were colored using Strawberry Slush ink and a Blending Brush. The ink was lightly added to the flowers and then more ink was added to achieve the desired color. The hibiscus were adhered onto the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The leaves were cut out using the Happy Hibiscus dies along with Granny Apple Green cardstock. The leaves were adhered onto the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and slipped slightly under the flowers.

Dark Calypso Coral, Light Cloud Cover, Light Granny Apple Green and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends were used to add accent to the flowers.

The sentiment is from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set and has been stamped in Secret Sea ink onto Cloud Cover cardstock.

Peach Pie 2024-2026 In-Color Flat Pearls were added for accent.

For the inside of the card, a Secret Sea cardstock panel was adhered onto the card base, followed by a Basic White cardstock panel.

The sentiment has been stamped in Secret Sea ink and is from the retired Sunny Sentiments stamp set.

The flower is from the Happy Hibiscus stamp set and has been stamped in Strawberry Slush and Granny Apple Green ink.
