Bloom Boutique Card CASE'd from the New Catalog

This card is a beautiful example of how a great layout and gorgeous paper can do all the work for you. I CASE’d this design from the front cover of the May–August 2026 Catalog, and it was such a fun way to bring the look to life with my own supplies.

The star of the card is the Bloom Boutique Specialty Designer Series Paper, arranged in a pinwheel-style pattern with softly scalloped edges cut out using the Scalloped Blooms dies. The mix of delicate florals and warm peach tones creates a fresh, cheerful feel that’s perfect for celebrating Mom. The layered design adds just the right amount of interest without overwhelming the eye.

To bring everything together, I wrapped a Peaceful Pine ribbon across the center and tied it into a simple bow for a touch of texture and contrast. The sentiment, heat embossed in gold, adds an elegant focal point and pairs beautifully with the soft color palette.

A few Hydrangea Hue 2026-2028 In-Color butterfly embellishments finish off the card, adding dimension and a light, whimsical touch. They’re the perfect little detail to make the design feel complete.

This is a great reminder that inspiration is everywhere—sometimes all it takes is a catalog cover to spark your creativity!

Bloom Boutique Mother's Day Card #2

Soft florals and a touch of gold—this card came together as a sweet and cheerful way to celebrate Mom.

For this design, I used the beautiful Bloom Boutique Suite, letting the patterned paper, from the Bloom Boutique Specialty Designer Series Paper, set the tone with its delicate blue florals and subtle gold accents. I layered scalloped circles, from the Scalloped Blooms dies, in coordinating shades of blue to create a soft backdrop for the focal elements, adding depth without overwhelming the design.

The flowers were stamped in Basic Black Hybrid ink, colored with the new 2026-2028 In-Color Stampin' Blends, and fussy cut to bring a bit of dimension and personality to the card. I love how the warm tones of the blooms pop against the cool blue background—it creates a fresh, balanced look that feels just right for spring.

A strip of Crisp Cantaloupe ribbon, across the center adds a gentle texture and helps ground the layout. The sentiment, heat embossed in gold, ties everything together with a bit of shine and elegance—perfect for honoring someone special on Mother’s Day.

To finish it off, I added a few Crisp Cantaloupe 2026–2028 In-Color Butterflies for a subtle hint of shimmer and whimsy. These tiny accents tie everything together and give the card a light, uplifting feel.

This card is a reminder that a few thoughtful layers, a cohesive color palette, and a hint of shimmer can create something truly meaningful. Simple, heartfelt, and handmade—just the way I like it.

Bloom Boutique Mother's Day Card

Soft florals, gentle color, and just a hint of dimension—this Mother’s Day card is all about delicate beauty.

I started with the lovely patterned paper from the Bloom Boutique Suite, letting the tiny scattered flowers create a light and airy background. It’s the perfect base for layering without needing anything too busy or heavy.

The focal point is a cluster of hand-colored blooms, brought to life using Watercolor Pencils and then softly blended with a Blender Pen. This technique gives the flowers that dreamy, painterly look while still keeping the stamped details crisp. I love how the soft peach, bright yellow, and touches of blue create a fresh spring palette.

To add a bit of interest and texture, I included the sweet Barely Blush 2026–2028 In-Color Butterflies. Their subtle shimmer and dimension give the card a little lift without taking away from the floral centerpiece.

The Barely Blush sentiment is kept soft and understated, allowing the florals to really shine while still sharing a heartfelt “Happy Mother’s Day.”

This card is a perfect reminder that simple techniques—like watercolor pencil blending—can create something truly elegant and meaningful.
