This card is number 9 in a series of cards I made for Father's Day for the Long Term Care unit at the hospital where I work. It was made using the Trusty Tools stamp set along with the coordinating Trusty Tools dies and was inspired by a card on Pinterest made by Penny Hanuszak.
The card starts with a Pebbled Path cardstock card base. The Copper Clay top panel has been embossed using the Metal Plate 3D Embossing folder.
The toolbox was made using the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (DSP) along with the Trusty Tools dies.
Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots were adhered on the sides of the toolbox to make it look like nails holding the box together.
The tools were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Basic White cardstock using the Trusty Tools stamp set and colored using Stampin' Blends. Once colored, the tools were cut out using the coordinating Trusty Tools die.
Some of the tools are from the Trusty Toolbox DSP and were either fussy cut or cut out using the coordinating Trusty Tools die.
The paint brush from the Trusty Tools stamp set was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Basic White cardstock and then colored using Stampin' Blends. Once colored it was cut out using the coordinating Trusty Tools die. After the paint brush was cut out, Crystal Effects were added to the "paint" on the end of the brush.
The sentiment is from the Trusty Tool stamp set and has been stamped in Copper Clay ink directly onto the side of the toolbox.
Here's a look at the inside of the card.
I hope you enjoyed looking at my card today.
