This card is number 8 in a series of cards I made for Father's Day for the Long Term Care unit at the hospital where I work. It was made using the Trusty Tools stamp set along with the coordinating Trusty Tools dies and was inspired by a card on Pinterest made by Judy Klock.
The card starts with a Smoky Slate cardstock card base, followed by a Basic Black cardstock panel. The top panel is from the retired Trusty Toolbox Designer Series Paper (DSP).
The "peg board" was cut out using Crumb Cake cardstock and one of the Trusty Tools dies. The "peg board" was adhered onto the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
The tools were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Basic White cardstock using the Trusty Tools stamp set and colored using Stampin' Blends. Once colored, the tools were then cut out using the Trusty Tools dies. Some of the tools are from the Trusty Toolbox DSP and were either fussy cut or cut out using the coordinating Trusty Tools die.
The sentiment is from the Trusty Tool stamp set and has been stamped in Poppy Parade ink onto Smoky Slate cardstock.
Here's a look at the inside of the card.
I hope you enjoyed looking at my card today.
