This card was made using the Crafting with You stamp set along with its coordinating dies. The inspiration for this card came from the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog on page 91.
I absolutely love how it turned out.
The card starts with a Pool Party cardstock card base.
The front panel was made using the retired Quilted Christmas Designer Series Paper(DSP). I wanted the card to look like it was a quilt or that it had been sewn, and the Quilted Christmas DSP fit for what I needed perfectly.
The basket and the embroidery hoop were cut out using the Crafting with You dies and Crumb Cake cardstock. The dies had been dabbed with Pecan Pie ink before they were used to cut out the hoop and basket. The tension knob on the embroidery hoop was colored using a Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends. Once dry, Wink of Stella was added to the tension knob.
The yarn was colored with Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy, Granny Apple Green and Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Markers. The knitting needles were colored using a Smoky Slate Stampin' Write Marker.
The flowers, from the Crafting with You stamp set, in the center of the embroidery hoop were stamped with Smoky Slate ink that had been stamped off once. It was then colored using Balmy Blue and Old Olive Stampin' Blends.
The scissors were made using Pumpkin Pie and Foil cardstock. A silver brad holds the two pieces of scissor together.
The sentiment is from the retired Very Best Occasions stamp set and has been stamped in Melon Mambo ink.
The sentiment panel has a piece of Vellum adhered behind it.
