This card is number 10 in a series of cards I made for Father's Day for the Long Term Care unit at the hospital where I work. It was made using the Trusty Tools stamp set along with the coordinating Trusty Tools dies and was inspired by a card on Pinterest made by Lisa Flemming.
The card starts with a Basic Black cardstock card base. Followed by a Gray Granite cardstock panel.
The tool chest was made using the retired Trusty Toolbox Designer Series Paper (DSP). However, this could have easily been made using Basic Black, Poppy Parade and Gray Granite cardstock cut into rectangles.
The "pegboard" was cut out using one of the Trusty Tools dies and
Crumb Cake cardstock.
The tools were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Basic White cardstock using the Trusty Tools stamp set and colored using Stampin' Blends. Once colored, the tools were cut out using the coordinating Trusty Tools die.
Some of the tools are from the Trusty Toolbox DSP and were either fussy cut or cut out using the coordinating Trusty Tools die.
The sentiment is from the Trusty Tool stamp set and has been stamped in Poppy Parade ink onto Crumb Cake cardstock.
The "handles" on the tool chest are from the retired Adhesive Backed Studs.
Here's a look at the inside of the card.
The nuts and bolts were cut out using one of the Trusty Tools dies and Silver Foil.
I hope you enjoyed looking at my card today.
