Trusty Tools Birthday

This card was made using the retired Trusty Toolbox Designer Series Paper (DSP) along with the Country Woods DSP.

I made this card for a friend who has a carpentry business.  The Trusty Toolbox DSP is retired, however, I had a few pieces of it leftover and it worked perfectly for the theme I was thinking of for his birthday card.

The card starts with a Pecan Pie cardstock card base, followed by an Early Espresso cardstock panel.

Country Woods DSP was used for the top panel.

The pegboard was cut out using one of the Trusty Tools dies and Crumb Cake cardstock.

The tools were either cut out with the Trusty Tools dies or were fussy cut from the Trusty Toolbox DSP.

The screws were cut out using Silver Foil and the Trusty Tools dies.

The sentiment is from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set and has been stamped in Early Espresso ink onto Crumb Cake cardstock.

For the inside of the card, an Early Espresso cardstock panel was adhered onto the card base, followed by a Basic Beige cardstock panel.

The paintbrush and level are from the Trusty Toolbox DSP and were fussy cut.

The sentiment is from the retired Sunny Sentiments stamp set and has been stamped in Early Espresso ink.

Ship Ahoy! Father's Day

What a quick and easy, fun card to make!

This card starts with a Real Red cardstock card base, followed by a Secret Sea cardstock panel, next a Basic White cardstock panel and then topped with a Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper (DSP) top panel.

The Splendid Autumn top panel was embossed using the Sunrise Sailing Hybrid Embossing Folder prior to adhering it onto the card front.

The sailboat was stamped in Secret Sea ink. The stripes on the sails were stamped in Real Red ink.  The details on the sailboat were stamped in Secret Sea ink.  Once stamped, the sailboat was cut out and embossed at the same time using the Sunrise Sailing Hybrid Embossing Folder along with the coordinating sailboat die. The Sunrise Sailing Hybrid Embossing Folder gave the sailboat some nice dimension. After the sailboat was embossed, it was adhered onto the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The seagulls were cut out using one of the Sunrise Sailing dies along with Secret Sea cardstock that had been backed with Adhesive sheet.  Using the adhesive sheet before cutting out the seagulls really made it easy to adhere the seagulls to the card front.

The sailboat silhouette on the water was stamped in Azure Afternoon ink directly onto the card front panel.

The sentiment is from the Trusty Tools stamp set and has been stamped in Azure Afternoon ink onto a scrap piece of Splendid Autumn DSP.  Once stamped, the sentiment panel was embossed using the Sunrise Sailing Hybrid Embossing Folder and then adhered onto the card front.

For the inside of the card, Secret Sea cardstock was adhered onto the Real Red cardstock card base, followed by a Basic White cardstock panel.

The sailboat and water have been stamped in Secret Sea ink.

The sentiment is from the retired Well Said stamp set and has been stamped in Secret Sea ink.

Regatta Father's Day

This card was made using the Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper (DSP) and was adhered onto a Secret Sea cardstock panel and then adhered onto a Basic White cardstock card base.

The largest sailboat, was stamped in Secret Sea ink onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using the sailboat outline stamp from the Sunrise Sailing stamp set. Secret Sea ink was stamped on the sails. Pecan Pie ink was stamped on the boat hull. Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends was also used on the boat hull. The sailboat was cut out using the Sunrise Sailing dies and adhered onto the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The other two sailboats were cut out using the Sunrise Sailing dies along with Secret Sea and Basic White cardstock. These sailboats were adhered onto the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The sentiment is from the Trusty Tools stamp set and has been stamped directly onto the Thoughtful Journey DSP in Secret Sea ink.

For the inside of the card, a Secret Sea cardstock panel was adhered onto the card base, followed by a Basic White cardstock panel.

The sentiment is from the retired Well Said stamp set and has been stamped in Secret Sea ink.

The sailboat and the water are from the Sunrise Sailing stamp set and have been stamped in Secret Sea ink.
