This card is number 7 in a series of cards I made for Father's Day for the Long Term Care unit at the hospital where I work.
The card starts with a Basic White cardstock card base followed by a Lost Lagoon cardstock panel and topped with a Basic White top panel that has been embossed using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing folder.
The toolbox was made using the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (DSP) along with the Trusty Tools dies.
Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots were adhered on the sides of the toolbox to make it look like nails holding the box together.
The paint brushes from the Trusty Tools stamp set were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Basic White cardstock and then colored using Stampin' Blends. Once colored they were cut out using the coordinating Trusty Tools die. After the paint brushes were cut out Crystal Effects was added to the "paint" on the end of the brush.
The Trusty Tools stamp set contains a stamp that made the "paint" underneath the Daffodil Delight paint brush. This also had Crystal Effects added to the "paint".
The sentiment is from the Trusty Tools stamp set and has been stamped in Lost Lagoon ink directly onto the side of the toolbox.
Here's a look at the inside of the card.
I hope you enjoyed looking at my card today.
