20 Days of Christmas - Day 9

Welcome to day nine of my 20 days of Christmas.

This card was made using the Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper(DSP) and an Evening Evergreen Ombre Gift Bag.

The Painted Christmas DSP is part of the Painted Christmas Suite, which includes the Christmas to Remember bundle and the Christmas Season bundle along with Gold Holly Leaves and Cherry Cobbler and Gold 1/2" Metallic Ribbon.

The Painted Christmas DSP was adhered onto a Evening Evergreen card base.

For the pine boughs an Evening Evergreen Ombre Gift Bag was opened at the seams so that it made a single, flat piece of paper.  Once the bag was a single layer, the fuller die from the Christmas Pinecone die was cut from the lighter side of the ombre "paper" and adhered onto the card front panel placing the Multipurpose Liquid Glue only where the pinecones will be going leaving the pine boughs loose.  The next layer was cut out from the dark side of the ombre "paper" using the more detailed die from the Christmas Pinecone die and adhered where the pinecones will be going, leaving the pine boughs loose.

The pinecones were cut out from the Christmas Pinecone die using Early Espresso cardstock for the base of the pinecone and Cinnamon Cider for the top layer.  I found the best way to cut out the pinecones was to first adhere the cardstock to Adhesive strips and then die cut.  If you didn't have adhesive strip you could adhere them to the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The sentiment is from the Christmas To Remember stamp set and has been stamped onto Cherry Cobbler cardstock using in VersaMark and then heat embossing using Gold Embossing Powder.  The sentiment was then cut out using one of the label dies from the Seasonal Labels dies. Gold Gilded Gems were placed on each end of the label.  The label was then adhered onto the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
The sentiment on the inside of the card has been stamped in Evening Evergreen ink onto Basic White cardstock and is from the Christmas to Remember stamp set.

The pinecone has been stamped in Cinnamon Cider ink for both the bottom and top layer.  The pine boughs were stamped in Evening Evergreen ink.
