Welcome to day fourteen of my 20 days of Christmas.
This card was inspired by a card I had seen on Pinterest unfortunately the artist did not add their name to the picture so I am unable to give them credit for the inspiration.
The first panel is has been embossed using the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder, this is a narrower embossing folder so the panel was embossed on both the right and left sides of the card panel. The next layer is a 1 1/2" x 5 3/8" piece of Vellum cardstock that has been adhered and centered onto the first panel using a strip of Stampin' Seal right down the middle of the Vellum.
Real Red 3/8" Sheer Ribbon was wrapped around the center of the panel and adhered with Stampin' Seal on the back of the panel.
The top panel is a 3" x 3" Real Red cardstock panel with a 2 7/8" x 2 7/8" Basic White cardstock panel that has been embossed with the Winter Snow Embossing Folder(retired) adhered on top of the Real Red panel. Next, a Wonderful Snowflake was adhered to the panel, followed by two Old Olive holly leaves from the Poinsettia dies.
The candy cane is from the Sweetest Time dies(retired). The easiest way to adhere finely detailed things like the candy cane is to use Adhesive Strips adhered to the cardstock before you run the cardstock and the die through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine. The completed candy cane has been adhered onto the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
The sentiment is from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set and has been stamped with Real Red ink onto Basic White cardstock. This panel was then adhered onto a Real Red panel before it was adhered onto the card front.
To finish the card, a Real Red 3/8" Sheer Ribbon bow was adhered onto the candy cane using Mini Glue Dots. Real Red Rhinestone Jewels were adhered randomly on the front panel.
The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the Whimsical Trees stamp set and has been stamped in Real Red ink. The candy cane is from the Sweetest Time stamp set(retired) and also is stamped in Real Red ink.
