I wish you could see this card in real life, while the picture is beautiful it still does not do the actual card justice.
The card starts with a Basic White card base.
The next panel is also Basic White cardstock.
The lighthouse was made using Real Red, Basic White and Basic Black cardstock, Vellum and a Silver Specialty sheet. I found the best way to adhere the lighthouse pieces together was by backing all of the cardstock pieces with Adhesive Sheet prior to cutting them out.
The lighthouse "light" was made by coloring a piece of Vellum with a Light and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend, adhering the Vellum to a piece of Adhesive Sheet and then cutting it out with one of the Lighthouse dies.
The wave is from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set and was stamped in VersaMark ink, then heat embossed using White Embossing Powder. Once embossed, a Blending Brush was used to apply Pool Party ink all over the wave and a slightly above the wave. Next, Bermuda Bay ink was applied to the middle of the wave, followed by a smaller amount of Pacific Point. The lastly, just a tiny amount of Night of Navy ink was added to the very center of the wave. Once all the colors were added, Pool Party was brushed over the entire wave one last time.
The stormy sky was made using Bermuda Bay and Night of Navy ink along with a Blending Brush.
The sentiment is from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set and has been stamped in VersaMark ink onto Night of Navy cardstock then heat embossed using White Embossing Powder. The sentiment was cut out using one of the dies from the Lighthouse dies and then adhered onto the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added randomly for accent.
Here's a look at the inside of the card.
The sentiment is from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set and has been stamped in Night of Navy ink. The lighthouse is from the Lighthouse Point stamp set and also has been stamped in Night of Navy ink.
