Much Love card

This card was made using the new Splendid Day Suite.

This suite will be available beginning July 1, 2022 with the launch of the July - December 2022 Mini Catalog.

As a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I have early access to new products usually about one month before they are available to the general public.

This suite includes the Splendid Thoughts stamp set 159668 along with the coordinating Splendid Stems dies 159676. Open Leaf gold colored Trinkets 159960.  Soft Sea Foam 3/8" Seam Binding Ribbon 159680 and the gorgeous Splendid Day 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper(DSP).

The Splendid Day DSP has 2 sheets of each of the 6 designs.  One side of each sheet is covered entirely in foil and white ink.

This card starts with a Soft Sea Foam cardstock card base.

The next panel is Splendid Day DSP that has been adhered onto the card base at an angle using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Fresh Freesia and Pool Party Stampin' Blends were used on the top panel to create an ombre effect. To make the ombre effect. Basic White cardstock was colored from the top of the panel to about the middle using Light Pool Party Blends.  Next the Light Fresh Freesia Blends was used to color from the middle of the panel to the bottom of the panel. Dark Pool Party was colored over the lower half of the Light Pool Party and Dark Fresh Freesia was used to color over the upper half of the Light Fresh Freesia.

One of the stamps in the Splendid Thoughts stamp set is a small bee.  The bee was stamped twice in Fresh Freesia and twice in Pool Party ink on the Fresh Freesia and Pool Party panel.

The sentiment is from the Splendid Thoughts stamp set and has been stamped onto Basic White cardstock using Fresh Freesia ink.

Soft Sea Foam 3/8" Seam Binding Ribbon was wrapped in half and adhered to the back of the sentiment label.

The open leaf stem was cut out using Soft Sea Foam cardstock and one of the Splendid Stems dies.  The Soft Sea Foam stems were adhered onto the sentiment using Mini Glue Dots.

Once everything was adhered onto the back of the sentiment label it was adhered onto the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
