I saw this card during one of our Stampin' Up! training events and immediately fell in love with it. I had to make it!
The card has a Tahitian Tide cardstock card base with Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper(DSP) panels on the front and top of the box or "table".
A Heart and Home Doilies was used for the teacups to "sit on". The Heart and Home Doilies are colored on one side and white on the other.
The teacups are from the Cup of Tea stamp set and were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and then cut out with the coordinating Teacup die. Once cut out, they were colored using Light and Dark Tahitian Tide and Light Sweet Sorbet Stampin' Blends.
Once the teacups were colored and the ink had dried, VersaMark ink was rubbed onto the front of the teacups and then heat embossed using Clear Embossing Powder. This process can be repeated several times depending on how thick and glossy you want the teacups.
The flowers on the front of the "table" have been stamped in Sweet Sorbet ink. The leaves have been stamped in Parakeet Party ink. Both the flowers and the leaves are from the Cup of Tea stamp set and have been cut out using the coordinating Teacup dies.
The Basic White sentiment panel has been stamped along the bottom using Parakeet Party ink and the greenery stamp from the Cup of Tea stamp set.
The sentiment is from the Cup of Tea stamp set and has been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. The leaf next to the sentiment is from the Cup of Tea stamp set and has been stamped in Parakeet Party ink.
Brushed Brass Butterflies were added for accent. These little butterflies have an adhesive back which makes it easy to adhere them to the card.
Here's a side view look at the card.
The teacup on the "table" was attached to the card using a half inch square box that was attached to the sentiment panel and the top of the "table".
