Graduation Congratulations

This card was inspired by a card on Pinterest that was done by Pink Lady.

This card begins with a Basic White card base.

The next two layers or panels are Blackberry Bliss and Crushed Curry cardstock.

The smaller square panels have a Basic White cardstock base, then a Crushed Curry cardstock layer and Blackberry Bliss cardstock on the top.

The center, larger square has a Blackberry Bliss cardstock base, followed by Crushed Curry cardstock and then Basic White cardstock.

The graduation cap was made using the Tailored Tag and Story Label punches. The directions on how to make the cap were on Pinterest in a post by Charlet Mallett. I used gold tinsel trim for the tassel.  The tassel is attached to the cap using a tiny gold brad.  The cap was adhered onto the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The "diploma" is a 1 1/2" x 3" piece of copy paper that was rolled into a cylinder and then tied with a small piece of ribbon.  The ribbon I used was another color than what I needed, so I used my Dark Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blends to color the middle fabric and left the gold edging.

The "Congratulations" sentiment is from the A Grand Kid stamp set and has been stamped onto Basic White cardstock using VersaMark ink and then heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.  The Basic White cardstock panel was then adhered onto a Blackberry Bliss cardstock panel, followed by a Crushed Curry cardstock panel.  I think if I made this card again, I would probably switch the Blackberry Bliss cardstock and the Crushed Curry cardstock on the sentiment panel. Right now it is hard to see the Crushed Curry panel against the Crushed Curry card front panel.
The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the Pure Gumption stamp set and has been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Basic White cardstock.

The graduation cap was also stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and then colored using the Dark Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blend.

A Crushed Curry panel was adhered onto the back of the Basic White cardstock panel, followed by a Blackberry Bliss cardstock panel and then adhered onto the inside of the card.
