A Spooktacular Dracula Halloween Card

It’s time to get a little spooky with this fun Dracula-inspired Halloween card! I love how the Spooktacular Designer Series Paper makes creating a playful Halloween character so easy. With a little fussy cutting and a few dimensional details, this Dracula really comes to life!
I started with a Basic Black cardstock card base, followed by a layer of Pumpkin Pie cardstock. The card front was then finished with Spooktacular Designer Series Paper.

For Dracula’s hair, I cut the image directly from another piece of the Spooktacular Designer Series Paper and re-adhered it to the card front using Basic Black Stampin’ Dimensionals. The dimension gives his hair a fun, raised effect and adds a little extra depth to the design.

For the sentiment, I used a circle from the Spotlight on Nature Dies. The “BOO to you” sentiment from the Oh My Fright Stamp Set was stamped in Basic Black Hybrid Ink. To give the circle a slightly distressed Halloween look, I colored around the edges using Basic Black Hybrid Ink and a Sponge Dauber.

A few Adhesive-Backed Bats, Ghosts and Dots were added around Dracula for the finishing touches. The little bats are the perfect accent and add just the right amount of spooky fun!
I carried the Halloween colors to the inside of the card with a Pumpkin Pie cardstock panel.

The sentiment was stamped in Pumpkin Pie Ink, while the cloud of bats was stamped in Basic Black Hybrid Ink. Both images are from the Oh My Fright Stamp Set.

I love how the inside coordinates with the card front without taking away from Dracula's starring role!

This card would be so much fun to send to someone special this Halloween. A little spooky, a little silly, and definitely spooktacular!
