Happy Halloween!

It’s time for a little Halloween fun! This spooky card combines creepy tree branches, friendly ghosts, and a bold orange-and-black color combination for a festive Happy Halloween design.

I started with a Basic Black cardstock card base and added an embossed with Swirls of Magic Pumpkin Pie layer for extra texture. The Frightfully Fun Designer Series Paper creates the perfect spooky background with its dark tree branches and Halloween colors.

The focal point of the card is the spooky black tree die-cut from the Oh My Fright dies. The tree was adhered to the card front using Black Stampin' Dimensionals. Its branches stretch across the card front, creating the perfect place for the friendly ghosts to float around. The ghosts were cut from the coordinating Frightfully Fun Designer Series Paper and added throughout the tree.

But there’s a fun surprise—two of the ghosts are attached using wobblers! This gives them a playful little bounce and adds a fun interactive element to the card. I love how a simple wobbler can bring a handmade card to life!

The “Happy Halloween” greeting was die-cut using the Words of the Season dies and added to the card front in a bright, sparkly Berry Burst Garden Textures Specialty Foil that has been backed with Adhesive Sheet. The Berry Burst really stands out against the orange and black background and adds just the right amount of shimmer.

A few additional little ghosts from the Adhesive-Backed Bats, Ghosts and Dots tucked among the branches complete the Halloween theme.

The inside continues the Halloween theme with a coordinating sentiment stamped in Pumpkin Pie ink and a group of flying bats from the Oh My Fright stamp set. Keeping the inside clean and simple allows the fun, dimensional card front to take center stage.

I love how this card combines spooky, cute, sparkle, and movement! Those bouncing ghosts are sure to make the recipient smile when they open the card.
