Just Dreamin' Stamps: all dressed up

One of the girls on my team is celebrating her Five-Year Stampin' Up! Anniversary on August 20th. She loves Hawaii so I decided to use that theme for her anniversary congratulations!

The stamp sets I used on this project are Timeless Tropical and Well Said. Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper was used to make this project, however, it has been retired.

The greeting on the front of this card has been stamped in Cinnamon Cider ink, which is one of the new 2020-2022 In-Color inks. The label is from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. The "5" has had Foam Adhesive adhered to the back of the Designer Series Paper and then cut out using the Playful Alphabet dies.

The gift bag was made using the All Dressed Up dies.

Tear and Tape Adhesive was used to adhere the gift bag together.

The little pineapple is from the In The Tropics dies. The pineapple was stamped in Saddle Brown StazOn ink then colored with Light Old Olive and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends.

Father's Day Gift Box

Along with the By the Dock Father's Day card, I also made the gentlemen residents of the Long Term Care Unit a little gift.

These "shirts" turned out so stinking cute, I sure hope the guys like them.

Here's a close-up of one of the shirts. Some of the shirts have a Pearl tie clasp and others have a fish hook. The Pearls are the largest of the Basic Pearl Jewels. The fish hook is from the Catch of the Day dies and was cut using a Gold Foil sheet. I used the Country Club Designer Series Paper, but any 12" x 12" sheet of cardstock would work. The ties and the collars are made with solid color cardstock. I found the easiest way to adhere the collars was to use Liquid Multipurpose glue.

The shirt is held shut with a 5/8" sticky back Velcro circle. The buttons are from the All Dress Up dies. The Take Your Pick tool worked great for getting the little button holes on the button punched out. The buttons were adhered onto the shirt using mini glue dots.

A peek at the inside of the gift bag. I used Tear and Tape Adhesive for all of the seams and on the bottom flaps to make sure it would hold together once I put the items in the bag.

These are all the small travel size.

As you can see, the original gift box was not tall enough to hold the items especially the Kleenex. The original gift box would be perfect for putting Dove chocolates or Hershey Kisses in. Below is the pattern, with the
measurements that I used.
