20 Days of Christmas - Day 4

Welcome to day four of my 20 days of Christmas.

This beautiful Christmas card was made using the Poinsettia Dies and Red Velvet Paper.

The Red Velvet Paper makes the poinsettia flowers look so real.

Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper(DSP) was used for the card front and the panels.  Real Red cardstock was used for the card base and behind the panels. Speaking of panels, I love this layout it is so quick and easy to do and always looks good.

The sentiment on the inside of the card is also from the Cherish the Season stamp set and is stamped in Real Red ink.

The poinsettia in the lower right corner is from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set and has also been stamped in Real Red ink.  The center of the poinsettia was heat embossed with Gold Embossing powder.

Christmas in July Blog Hop

Welcome to Team Stamp It Groups Christmas in July Blog Hop! Whether you hopped onto my Blog from one of my teammates or started with my blog, I'm awfully glad you "hopped" by.

It's hard to believe that Christmas is less than six months away!

This beautiful card was made using the Poinsettia Petals stamp set along with the coordinating Poinsettia Dies.
The poinsettia flowers and berries were stamped in VersaMark ink onto Basic White cardstock and then heat embossed with Gold Metallic emboss powder.

Once embossed, the berries were colored using a Dark Real Red Stampin' Blend.

The card front was adhered to a Gold Foil sheet using Stampin' Seal.  This panel was then adhered onto a Thick Basic White cardbase.

The sentiment on the card front is from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set.

The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set and has been heat embossed using the Gold Metallic Emboss Powder.

I was so happy with how the gold embossed card turned out, I decided to make the same card only using Real Red cardstock and White Emboss Powder.

For this card the Real Red card front was adhered onto a Basic White panel.  Once adhered, this panel was then adhered onto a Real Red cardbase.

Here's a look at the inside of the card, the sentiment was heat embossed using White Emboss Powder.
