Garden Meadow

This beautiful card was made using the Meandering Meadows Suite, which is available as an online exclusive in my online store.

This card was inspired by a card on Pinterest that was made by Shelly Godby.

The card starts with a Highland Heather cardstock card base.

The next panel is Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper.

The Basic White cardstock top panel was embossed with the
Timeworn Type 3D Embossing folder and then cut out with the arch die from the Garden Meadows die, which is part of the Meandering Meadow Suite.

Next the gate from the Garden Meadows die was cut out using Basic White cardstock. The gate was cut in half and then adhered to the bottom and side edge of the arch.

The wheelbarrow, watering can and boots are all part of the Meandering Meadows Suite and have been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored using Stampin' Blends.

The sentiment is from the Garden Meadow stamp set and has been stamped in Highland Heather ink.

Here's a peek at the inside of the card.

The garden tools are from the Garden Meadow stamp set.

The sentiment is from the Sunny Sentiments stamp set, which is retired.

Here is a look at the card with its envelope.

The flower in the corner of the envelope is from the Garden Meadow stamp set and has been colored using Fresh Freesia and Granny Apple Green
Stampin' Blends.

Quiet Meadow Sympathy Card

I unfortunately had to send a sympathy card this week.  Sympathy cards are my least favorite cards to make, not that they are hard to make in the sense of difficulty, but hard on my heart to make.

This card starts with a Basic Black cardstock card base followed by a Basic White cardstock panel.

The narrow front panel has been cut at 2 1/2" x 4 3/4".  The flower is from the Meadow dies.  Before I cut the flower out I backed the Basic White cardstock front panel with a piece of Adhesive Sheet.

Once the flower was cut out, a 2" x 4 1/2" Basic Black panel was adhered onto the back of the Basic White front panel.

Next the die cut flower was adhered to the card front offsetting it a little bit from the black background. This panel was adhered onto the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Matte Black Dots were added to the center of the flowers.

The Basic White cardstock butterflies are from the Brilliant Wings dies and have been adhered onto the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The sentiment is from the Something Fancy stamp set and has been stamped onto Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  The sentiment label was cut out using one of the Meadow dies. This Meadow die was used again to cut out a Basic Black label that was cut in half and then adhered slightly off-set onto the back of the Basic White label.
The sentiment on the Basic White cardstock inside panel is from the Quiet Meadow stamp set and has been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

I hope you enjoyed my card for today. Easter Friends

These cute cards were made using the Hand-Penned Memories & More Cards & Envelopes.  These cards and envelopes are currently on sale and will be retiring soon.
The inspiration for these cards came from a card made by Stephanie Steiner.

The Easter Friends stamp set was used to make these cards.  Once stamped on Basic White cardstock, they were colored using Stampin' Blends and then fussy cut.

The flowers are from the Meadow dies and the Honeybee Blooms dies.

The sentiments are from the Celebrating You and the Easter Friends stamp sets.

The Stitched So Sweetly dies were used for the background behind the bunnies and the duckling.  The Stitched So Sweetly dies will be retiring in June.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my card and have been inspired to try some of my ideas on your own.  If you are looking for a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I would love it if you chose me as your demonstrator!  When you place an order in my online store you can earn Stampin’ Rewards that can be used for free and discounted products, or used toward your Starter Kit, if you are interested in becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator
