Dropping By!

I love this card, it just makes me smile every time I look at it.  This card was made using the Hey Chick and Hey Birthday Chick bundles.

The Basic White front panel was colored using Garden Green, Granny Apple Green, Seaside Spray and Misty Moonlight ink using a Blending Brush.  Next, the panel was embossed using the Stitched with Whimsy dies and then adhered onto the Pretty Peacock card base.

The corn stock was cut out using Pear Pizzazz cardstock.  The "corn" was cut out using Bumblebee cardstock.  The "husk" on the corn is vellum that was colored using a Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blend and then cut out.  The corn die is from the Chick dies, as was the chicken coop.  The chicken coop was colored using Dark Real Red, Dark Soft Suede and Dark Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends. The fence was cut out of Cinnamon Cider cardstock and is from the Birthday Chick dies.

The chickens were colored using Light and Dark Smoky Slate, Dark Real Red and Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends.  The chicken with the balloon is from the Hey Birthday Chick stamp set and is cut out using the coordinating Birthday Chick die and was adhered to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals. The balloon is colored with Dark and Light Pretty Peacock Stampin' Blends.
The other chicken is from the Hey Chick stamp set and is cut out using the coordinating Chick die.
The chicken on the inside of the card is from the Hey Birthday Chick stamp set and has been colored with Dark and Light Smoky Slate and Real Red Stampin' Blends.  The cupcake has been colored with Dark and Light Flirty Flamingo, Dark Pretty Peacock and Light Mango Melody Stampin' Blends.

The sentiment is from the Hey Birthday Chick stamp set and has been stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

Happy Birthday Chick!

This chick looks like she is the life of the party!
The card was made using the new Hey Birthday Chick stamp set along with the coordinating Birthday Chick dies.

The Just Jade card base has a Flower & Field Designer Series Paper (DSP) front panel.  The next panel is also from the Flower & Field DSP.

The Birthday Chick was stamped onto Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and then colored with Bumblebee ink and Dark So Saffron Stampin' Blends.  Using the Blender pen made it easy to color the chick with the Bumblebee ink.  The beak and the comb of the chicken were colored in Light Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends.

Once colored the chicken was cut out using the Stitched Shapes dies.  The Just Jade panel behind the chicken was cut out using the Layering Oval dies and was adhered to the card front using Black Stampin' Dimensionals.

The Just Jade gingham checked bow is from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo pack and is adhered onto the stitched oval using a Mini Glue Dot.

"Happy Birthday" was cut out using the die from the Birthday Chick dies and Basic Black and Just Jade cardstock.  The Basic Black Happy Birthday was adhered slightly offset onto the back of the Just Jade Happy Birthday.

Using the Take Your Pick Tool made it easy to add the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels on the card for accent.
The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the Hey Birthday Chick stamp set and is stamped onto Basic White cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

The cupcake eating chick was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and then colored using Light and Dark Smoky Slate, Light Cherry Cobbler, Dark Pumpkin Pie, Light and Dark Flirty Flamingo, Light Pretty Peacock and Dark So Saffron.
