Geared Up Birthday

This card was made using the same technique as the card I posted earlier this week. Click here to see how to make this card.

This card is going to a young man who is in high school and was made using the retired Geared Up Garage stamp set along with the coordinating Garage Gears dies.
Here's a look at the inside of the card.

The gears are from the retired Garage Gears dies.

The sentiment is from the retired Sunny Sentiments stamp set and has been stamped in Blueberry Bushel ink.

A matching envelope was also made using the Geared Up Garage car stamp.

I hope you enjoyed my card for today!

This three-day sale is the perfect opportunity to stock up on every color of two-tone cardstock. Whether you’re making cards or a scrapbook spread, two-tone cardstock is a must-have crafting staple.

Everyday Skies No Waste Birthday Card

Have you ever wished that you could make both sides of your Designer Series Paper (DSP) visible on your card without making a bunch of cuts, wasting beautiful DSP and making a gluey mess?

Well wish no further, todays card will show you how to show off both sides of your gorgeous DSP with no fuss or muss.

Not only does this card have "no waste or mess" but it also goes together quick and easy.

This technique was shared by one of my team members, Kim Beuchaw, during our monthly Alaska Stampers Team meeting.  Kim saw the idea on a video made by Jacque Williams. Jacque called the technique "an easy way to use 6" x 6" papers with no waste."

To make this card I used the Everyday Skies 6" x 6" DSP along with Blueberry Bushel cardstock.

The sentiment is from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set and has been stamped in Secret Sea ink.

Blueberry Bushel Tinsel Gems were added to the front for accent.
Here's a look at the inside.
The front inside of the card, is the back side of the DSP that was used on the front of the card.  Allowing both sides of the beautiful DSP to be displayed.

Isn't this an awesome idea??!!

The sentiment is from the retired Sunny Sentiments stamp set and has been stamped in Secret Sea ink.

I hope you enjoyed my card for today!
