Aren't these the cutest little Easter treat boxes??!!
I made these for the residents of the Long Term Care Unit at the hospital where I work. The residents are going to be able to have a modified Easter dinner this year and these little treat boxes will be used for their placeholders at the table.
Here's a look at the back side.
Each of the bunnies has a pom-pom for a tail and the baby chick has an egg shell.
All of the treat holders were made using the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box die.
Each box holds four Hershey's foil wrapped chocolate Easter eggs.
Here's a look at each of the different treat boxes close up.
Crumb Cake cardstock was used to make this bunny. The tie was cut out with one of the tie dies from the Suit & Ties dies and Well Suited Designer Series Paper. The tie was adhered to the box using Stampin' Seal.
The ears were cut out using one of the tags that was included with the Mini Curvy Keepsake die. The Blushing Bride cardstock inner ear was cut out using the Treasured Tags Pick a Punch. Before the inner ears were punched out the Blushing Bride cardstock was adhered to an Adhesive Sheet. This enabled the inner ear to be adhered to the outer ear very easily. The ears were slightly curled on the ends using a Bone Folder.
The Basic Black eyes were highlighted with a White Stampin' Chalk Marker.
The nose was punched out using Blushing Bride cardstock. The Blushing Bride cardstock had been adhered to an Adhesive Sheet before punching out to make adhering to the box easier.
The whiskers were hand drawn using the Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker.
The name tag was cut out using In Good Taste Designer Series Paper and the sign post from the Chick Dies. It was adhered onto the side of the box using a Mini Glue Dot. At the top of the name tag a Metallic Pearl was added.
The baby chick was cut out using Daffodil Delight cardstock. The Basic White cardstock egg was cut out using the egg from the Dino dies and was adhered onto the box using Stampin' Seal. The beak is Pumpkin Pie cardstock. The eyelashes were hand drawn using a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker.
This bunny was made using Basic White cardstock. The flower was punched out using the Confetti Flowers Punch and has a Rhinestone Basic Jewel adhered to the center of the flower. The flower was adhered onto the box using a Mini Glue Dot.
This bunny was made using Smoky Slate cardstock.
