Black Cat Treat Box

This Black Cat Treat Box was inspired by a treat box on Pinterest made by Angie Juda using the Potions and Spells bundle, which is available through my online store.

The Basic Black cardstock cauldron has been flipped upside down and is attached to a 2 3/8" square treat box.  The back of the treat box is 4 1/4" high.

The cat, as mentioned above, was made by flipping the cauldron upside down.  The ears were made using Basic Gray cardstock and the "feet" of the cauldron die from the Potions and Spells dies.  The nose and mouth were made using the handle die from the Potions and Spells dies and Basic Gray cardstock.  The whiskers are made from thinly cut Vellum, which has been retired, strips.

The cats eyes were cut using the circle dies in the Potions and Spells die set along with Basic Black and Granny Apple Green cardstock.

The cats collar has been cut using the top part of the cauldron die along with Granny Apple Green cardstock. The Silver Foil buckle on the collar has been cut using the rectangular die from the Potions and Spells dies.

The sentiment is from the Potions and Spells stamp set and has been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Granny Apple Green cardstock.

The Basic Black cardstock bats were made using a retired Bitty Butterfly punch.  Their eyes were made using a chalk gel pen.

Going Batty!!

Look at this cute little dude!!

This little treat box was made using the Design A Treat stamp set along with the coordinating Design A Treat Box dies.  This set is available as a bundle or can be purchased separately.

This little treat box goes together really quick and easy!

The box was made using Basic Black cardstock and the box die from the Design A Treat Box dies.

The Pumpkin Pie cardstock label has been stamped with one of the border stamps from the Design A Treat stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Once stamped, it was cut out using one of the label dies from the Design A Treat Box dies.

The Basic Black numbers have been cut out using the number die from the
Design A Treat Box dies.  The die is numbered from 0 to 9.
Here's a peek at the inside of the treat box.

The treat box will hold three regular-sized Hershey Kisses.
Once the box was filled with the Hershey Kisses and the box was closed, googly eyes were added to the tab on the top of the treat box.

The bat wings, which are also from the Design A Treat Box dies, were added behind the tab on the top of the treat box.

I hope you enjoyed todays project. If you are looking for a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I would love it if you chose me as your demonstrator!  When you place an order in my online store you can earn Stampin’ Rewards that can be used for free and discounted products, or used toward your Starter Kit, if you are interested in becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator

Halloween and Fall Theme Blog Hop

Welcome to Team Stamp It Groups Halloween/Fall Theme Blog Hop!  Whether you hopped onto my blog from one of my teammates or started here with my blog, I'm awfully glad you "hopped" by.
Halloween!
What a fun time of year, just like this card!
This card was made using the Have a Hoot bundle.  The Have a Hoot Bundle includes the Have a Hoot Stamp Set and the Peek-A-Hoot Dies.
Magic in this Night Designer Series Paper (DSP) was used for the card front.  The owls were "popped out" from the front of the card using Stampin' dimensionals.
The bats were made using the Halloween Magic dies and Magic in the Night DSP. This DSP pack includes Halloween-themed images such as spiders, spider webs, bats, and florals.  An added bonus is the bats in the Halloween Magic die set match with the bats in Magic in the Night DSP for easy cutting out. The sentiment is from the Banner Year stamp set.
