Nests of Winter Christmas Cardinals

This card was made using the Nests of Winter Suite #164072, which will be available on September 4, 2024 in the new September-December 2024 Mini Catalog.

Cherry Cobbler cardstock was used for the card base.

Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper (DSP) was used for the next panel.

The birds are also from the Nests of Winter DSP and have been cut out using the coordinating Winterly Tree Tops die.  The Nests of Winter DSP isn't necessarily a Christmas themed DSP it is more of a winter theme.  I wanted to use red cardinals on my card, which the DSP did not have in the size I wanted.  Problem solved, I colored the birds using Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends. The birds were adhered to the front panel using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Here is what the birds looked like before I colored them.
The sprigs from the Winterly Tree Tops stamp set were stamped onto Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink, colored with the Bronze Stampin' Blends and then cut out using the coordinating Winterly Tree Top die.  The sprigs were adhered behind the bird image.

The sentiment is from the Greetings of the Season stamp set, which is available in my online store.  The sentiment was stamped directly onto the card front using Cherry Cobbler ink.

Cherry Cobbler and Pearl Adhesive Backed Berries were added for accent.
The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the Greetings of the Season stamp set and has been stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink.

The sprig and pinecone are from the Nests of Winter DSP and have been fussy cut.
