Fluffiest Friends Valentine #4

This card was inspired by a card made by Bree Kathleen.

Thick Basic White cardstock was used for the card base, followed by a piece of Bee Mine Designer Series Paper (DSP) that had been cut to 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" and adhered to the middle of the Basic White card base.

The Real Red cardstock top panel was embossed using one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders. Once embossed, the center was cut out using the half oval die from the Fluffiest Friends dies. The Real Red front panel was adhered onto the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals. The Fluffiest Friends bundle is available on my online store, click here.

The bear is from the Fluffiest Friends stamp set and has been colored with Stampin' Blends.  Once colored, the bear was cut out using the coordinating Fluffiest Friends dies and then adhered to the card front using
Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The "jars of honey" have been fussy cut from the Bee Mine DSP.

The sentiment from the Bee My Valentine stamp set has been stamped in Real Red ink onto Basic White cardstock.

The heart and flower are from the Adhesive-Backed Hearts and Flowers Embellishments.
The inside of the card has a Real Red cardstock panel followed by a Basic White cardstock panel.

The sentiment is from the Country Bouquet stamp set and has been stamped in Sweet Sorbet ink.

The bee and jars were fussy cut from the Bee Mine DSP.  The little bee trail is from the Bee My Valentine stamp set and has been stamped in Pool Party ink.

To the Beach

This beautiful card was made using the gorgeous By the Bay Specialty Designer Series Paper(DSP).  In order to see the true beauty of this DSP you really need to see it in person.  Many of the sheets of this DSP have been embossed with gold or pearl foil.

The Night of Navy cardstock card base is followed by a Night of Navy pearl foil embossed By the Bay DSP panel.

The smaller panels are also from the By the Bay DSP.  The crab panel has been embossed with gold foil and the mussel shell panel has several of the shells embossed with pearl foil.

The bird was cut out from the By the Bay DSP using the coordinating Seaside Bay die. Once cut out, the bird was adhered onto the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The sentiment is from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set and has been stamped in Night of Navy ink onto a piece of the By the Bay DSP.

All of the smaller panels have been backed with Night of Navy cardstock before they were adhered onto the card front.

Flat Adhesive Backed Pearls were adhered randomly onto the card front for accent.
The card above shows how beautiful the mussel shells look without the light from my camera reflecting off of the pearl foil.
Here's a look at the inside of the card.

The inside panel is from the By the Bay DSP.  The mussel shells along the lower half of the panel are the same By the Bay DSP as was used on the front of the card.

The sentiment is from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set and has been stamped in Night of Navy ink.

Storybook Gnomes Hot Chocolate Holder

These have got to be the quickest and most fun gifts to make.

The base is a piece of Poppy Parade cardstock.

Both pieces of Designer Series Paper (DSP) are from the Storybook Gnomes DSP.

A 2 1/2" scalloped circle die from the Layering Circles dies was used to cut out the Night of Navy circle.

A 2 1/4" Layering Circle die was used to cut out the Gnome and Moose.  This was adhered onto the Night of Navy circle using Stampin' Seal.

The sentiment from the Peaceful Deer stamp set was stamped in Night of Navy ink onto Pool Party cardstock and then it was cut out using one of the Seasonal Labels dies.

Using the same Seasonal Labels die, a Night of Navy cardstock label was also cut out, cut down the middle on the long side and then adhered onto the back of the Pool Party label so that only a hint of the Night of Navy label showed.

Fine Sparkle Adhesive Backed Gems were adhered onto each end of the sentiment label and on the card front for accent.

A salted caramel spoon was adhered onto the holder by using a paper punch to punch two small holes in the side panel of the holder and then threading 3/16" Iridescent Trim through the holes and tying it into a bow around the spoon.

A packet of hot chocolate and a couple of mini peppermint candy canes finished off the holders.
Here's another look at the Hot Chocolate Holders.
