Christmas in July Blog Hop

Welcome to the Team Stamp It Groups Christmas in July Blog Hop!

Whether you hopped onto my blog from one of my teammates or started with my blog, I'm awfully glad you "hopped" by.

For today's blog hop, I have made a card using the Jolly Holly bundle.
The Jolly Holly stamp set along with the coordinating Hybrid Embossing Folder and Dies were used to make this card.

The card starts with a Mossy Meadow cardstock card base, followed by an Old Olive cardstock panel.

The top panel is from the Season of Green and Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP).  The Season of Green and Gold Specialty DSP is on the last chance list, so if you are wanting to make this card don't wait to order the DSP.

The top panel was cut out using the Jolly Holly Hybrid Embossing Folder along with the coordinating die.  It is hard to see in the picture above, however, the die partially cuts the holly leaves so you can pop the leaves up a little bit.  Hint: When adhering the top panel to the Old Olive panel make sure to not add glue to the leaves you want to have popped out.

The sentiment label is from the Jolly Holly die set. I used the larger of the two rectangles. The label was cut out using the Season of Elegance Specialty DSP.  The label fits easily between the holly leaves on the front panel.

The sentiment is a die from the Jolly Holly die set and has been cut out using Gold Foil. For ease of adhering to the sentiment label, the Gold Foil was backed with Adhesive Sheet before it was cut out.

The Cherry Cobbler berries are from the Cherry Cobbler and Pearl Adhesive-Backed Berries.
For the inside of the card, an Old Olive cardstock panel was adhered to the Mossy Meadow card base.

The sentiment on the Basic White top panel has been embossed using WOW Gold Rich Metallic Embossing Powder along with VersaMark Ink and a Heat Tool.  The sentiment is from the Jolly Holly stamp set.

The little holly sprig in the corner is also from the Jolly Holly stamp set and has been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  Once stamped, the holly was then colored using Stampin' Blends.

I hope today’s card inspires you to create something magical!

Joyous Noel

This was a fun card to make and design.

The card starts with a Basic White card base.

The front of the card base has a Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper (DSP) panel adhered on top of it.

Once the Joy of Christmas DSP was adhered to the card front, the center of the card front was cut out using the XX from the largest Deckled Circle die.

The inside of the card was decorated with the Joy of Christmas Suite Collection.

Here's a closer look at the inside of the card.  The card was created with a mechanism to move the decorations around when the card is opened. Check out the video below to see the card in action!

The sentiment on the larger Deckled circle is from the Joy of Noel stamp set.

The sentiment on the smaller Deckled circle is from the Christmas Classics stamp set.

Loose Holly Gems and Sequins were used to decorate the sentiment.
When I created this post the Joy of Christmas Suite was still available and can be purchased using the supply list below.

With the Last Chance Products Sale going on right now a lot of the products are selling out quickly.
