Nests of Christmas - October Paper Pumpkin Alternatives - Part 3

Welcome to part 3 of having fun creating alternative projects from the October 2024 Nests of Christmas Paper Pumpkin kit.
This card starts with a Coastal Cabana cardstock card base, followed by two panels from the Nests of Christmas Paper Pumpkin October kit.

The cardinal and foliage are ephemera from the Nests of Christmas kit.

The sentiment, label and ribbon behind the sentiment label were also included in the kit.

It's hard to see it in the picture, however, Wink of Stella was added to the little red berries to give them some glimmer.

This next card has a Night of Navy cardstock card base followed by a Shaded Spruce cardstock panel. The next two panels are from the Nests of Christmas kit.

The tree was cut out using Shaded Spruce cardstock and a Frosted Forest die.  After the tree was cut out, a Dark Copper Clay Stampin' Blends was used to highlight the tree trunk.

The bird, foliage and sentiment panel are all from the Nests of Christmas kit.

White Loose Snowflakes were added for accent.

The final card was made the same as the card above.

The difference is this card has a Shaded Spruce cardstock card base and the Poppy Parade panel has been embossed using the Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder.

I hope you enjoyed my cards for today.

Nests of Christmas - October Paper Pumpkin Alternatives - Part 1

It was so much fun creating alternative projects from the October 2024 Nests of Christmas Paper Pumpkin kit.

The Nests of Christmas Paper Pumpkin kit came with beautiful tri-fold card bases along with everything else needed to make the cards per the kit instructions.

Because I wanted to extend the amount of projects I made, I cut each of the card bases into three separate panels.

For this card, a Night of Navy card base was used.  The card front was then made following the instructions that came with the Nests of Christmas kit.

The next card has a Shaded Spruce card base, followed by panels from the Nests of Christmas kit.

Basic White cardstock was used to cut out the tree from the Frosted Forest dies.

The sentiment is from the Shepherd's Care stamp set and has been stamped in Shaded Spruce ink, which was supplied in the kit.

White Loose Snowflakes were added for accent.

For this last card, Shaded Spruce cardstock was used for the card base.  The next panel is from the Nests of Christmas kit.

The top panel is from the Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper (DSP).

The birds are from the Nests of Winter DSP and have been fussy cut.

I hope you enjoyed my cards for today.

Frosted Forest Christmas

This beautiful card was made using the Frosted Forest Bundle.  This bundle includes the Frosted Forest stamp set, the coordinating Frosted Forest dies and the Frosted Forest Decorative Masks.

Blackberry Bliss cardstock was used for the card base. The inside of the Basic White cardstock panel was cut out using one of the Deckled Rectangles dies. Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper (DSP)) was used for the center panel and has also been cut out using one of the Deckled Rectangles dies.

The trees were made using Old Olive and Mossy Meadow ink along with the
layer A and B Frosted Forest Decorative Masks and Blending Brushes.  Shimmery White Embossing Paste was used with the layer C mask.

Once the Embossing Paste dried the trees were cut out using the coordinating Frosted Forest die and adhered to the card front.

A Light Copper Clay Stampin' Blends was used to add a little definition on the tree trunk.

Blackberry Bliss cardstock was used for the sentiment and has been cut out using the retired Word Wishes dies.  Adhesive Sheet was added to the back of the Blackberry Bliss cardstock before it was cut out to make it easier to adhere onto the card front.

Pearls from the Cherry Cobbler and Pearl Adhesive Backed Berries were added randomly to the card front.
Basic White cardstock was used for the inside panel and has been cut out using one of the Deckled Rectangle dies.

The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the Greetings of the Season stamp set and has been stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink.

The tree is from the Frosted Forest Bundle and has been created the same way as outlined above.
