This card is card #3 in a series of Mother's Day cards for the ladies in the Long Term Care Unit at the hospital where I work.
This card was inspired by a card on Pinterest that was made by Wanda Pettijohn.
The Flight and Airy Designer Series Paper (DSP) used to make this card is no longer available.
The card starts with a Thick Basic White cardstock card base, followed by a Lost Lagoon cardstock panel.
The top panel is two pieces of the Flight and Airy DSP, with a small strip of Lost Lagoon cardstock adhered over the seam from where the two pieces of DSP met.
A Vellum doily was made using the die from the Delightful Doily Hybrid Embossing Folder. Before the doily was cut out a piece of Adhesive Sheet was adhered to the back of the Vellum to enable it to adhere to the card front without seeing the adhesive. Once the doily was cut out, it was cut in half and the half was adhered onto the card front.
The Basic White cardstock circle was cut out using one of the Everyday Details dies.
The top panel was fussy cut using the Flight and Airy DSP. Once cut out, it was adhered onto the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
The sentiment is from the retired Dress to Impress stamp set and has been stamped in Lost Lagoon ink onto Basic White cardstock. A piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock was adhered behind the sentiment panel. The sentiment panel was adhered onto the card front using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
2021-2023 In Color Jewels (retired) were adhered randomly around the
card for accent.
Here is a look at the inside of the card.
The sentiment is from the Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set and has been stamped in Lost Lagoon ink.
The bird scene was fussy cut from the same sheet of Flight and Airy DSP and adhered onto the inside of the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
