Christmas Placeholders - day 6

Hard to believe there are only five days before Christmas. To help you with your Christmas table settings, I thought I would share with you the placeholders that I made for the Long Term Care Unit at the hospital I work at.

The idea was CASED from a Pinterest post I saw that was done by Jeanie Stark.

It was simple and easy to make, which is exactly what I needed during this busy holiday season.

The placeholders were made by using a rubber band, I used the clear kind that you can find in the hair product aisle, to group three candy canes together.

Next, I wrapped ribbon around the candy cane cluster to cover the rubber band and tied it in a bow. I printed out the names using Segue font onto thick Whisper White card stock. The stamp set I used was Blended Seasons, which is a retired stamp set. The image was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and then colored with Light Mossy Meadow, Light Old Olive and Dark Cherry Cobbler ink.

New Years Theme Blog Hop

Welcome to Team Stamp It Groups New Years Theme Blog Hop! Whether you hopped onto my Blog from one of my teammates or started with my blog, I'm awfully glad you "hopped" by.

Hard to believe this year is almost over, even with the pandemic, it still seemed like it just flew by.

This card has several layers of different colored panels to coordinate with the multi-colored Glimmer paper. The Whisper White card base has a Granny Apple Green panel followed by a Blackberry Bliss panel. Night of Navy cardstock was used for the top panel. Rainbow glitter paper and the Stitched Stars dies were used to make the stars and starry swirl. These were adhered to the Night of Navy card front using little dots of liquid glue. Happy New Year was cut out using the Word Wishes dies and Silver Foil cardstock. The words were adhered to the card front with small pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals.

The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the Wish for Everything stamp set. It is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The stars are from the Rainbow Glimmer paper starry swirl.

Christmas Cheer - day 5

This card is a stepped up version of the Sweetest Season card that I posted yesterday. You can see that card here by clicking this link. This card has a Whisper White card base and Real Red cardstock panel. Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added to the circle candy. The additional candy canes were adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the Snow Wonder stamp set.

Sweetest Season - day 4

This card looks so yummy you almost want to eat it!

This card was made using the Sweetest Time bundle and the Curvy Dies along with Red Foil cardstock. Using the Stampin' Up! Adhesive Sheets and the Stampin' Cut and Emboss machine made putting this card together quick and easy.

Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added for accent and in the center of the circle candies. The sentiment on the front of the card is from the Sweetest Time stamp set and is stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink.

This card has a Whisper White card base. The second panel, on the inside of this card, is Real Red cardstock. For the top panel, on the inside of this card, the candy cane die was used to cut out the candy cane and then adhered back onto the card. The sentiment is stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink and is from the Snow Wonder stamp set.
