Cottage Rose

This is the last of the cards we made for the Stampin' Up! World Card Making Day Event.

The card begins with a Basic White cardstock card base.

Using the solid leaf stamp from the Cottage Rose stamp set, the leaf image was stamped three times using Crumb Cake ink onto the Basic White cardstock front panel. The leaves were then partially colored using a Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends. Once colored the front panel was adhered onto the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The single flower stamp from the Cottage Rose stamp set was stamped onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  The flower was colored using a So Safron and a Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends. The leaves were colored using Old Olive and Mint Macaron Stampin' Blends. Once colored the flower image was cut out using the coordinating Cottage Flowers dies and adhered onto the card front panel using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The more open flowers and leaves are also from the Cottage Flowers dies and have been cut out using Crumb Cake cardstock.  The flowers and leaves were adhered behind the larger flower image using Mini Glue Dots.

The sentiment is from the Cottage Rose stamp set and has been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto So Saffron cardstock. The sentiment was adhered onto the flower using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels were added to the card front for accent.

This card has a finished size of 5" x 3 1/2".

The card base is Fresh Freesia cardstock.

The door was stamped onto Basic White cardstock using Mint Macaron ink and the door stamp from the Warm Welcome stamp set.  Once stamped the door was colored with a Blending Brush using Fresh Freesia and Mint Macaron ink.

The door was cut out using the coordinating door die from the Warm Welcome die set and then adhered to the Basic White front panel using Mini Glue Dots and Stampin' Seal.

The Basic White front panel was adhered onto the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The arms holding the coffee cups are also from the Warm Welcome stamp set and have been stamped onto Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  The arm image was colored using Bermuda Bay, Rich Razzleberry and Early Espresso Watercolor Pencils. The arm image was cut out using the coordinating die from the Warm Welcome die set.

The Warm Welcome stamp set and coordinating Warm Welcome dies can be purchased separately or as a bundle.

After the arm image was colored and cut out, the end of the arms were tucked in on each side of the door and adhered to the card front panel using Mini Glue Dots.
