Gold Star Congratulations Graduation Card

This card was CASE'd from a card I saw on Pinterest that was made by Glenda Calkins.  (CASE stands for Copy and Share Everything).

The card starts with a Basic White cardstock base, followed by a Crush Curry cardstock panel and then a Blackberry Bliss cardstock top panel.

The graduation cap was made using the Tailored Tag and Story Label punches. The directions on how to make the cap were on Pinterest in a post by Charlet Mallett. I used gold tinsel trim for the tassel.  The tassel is attached to the cap using a tiny gold brad.  The cap was adhered onto the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The "Congratulations" sentiment is from the A Grand Kid stamp set and has been stamped onto the Blackberry Bliss front panel using VersaMark ink and then heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.

The stars and swirl are from the Stitched Stars dies and have been cut out using a Gold Foil Sheet that had been backed with Adhesive Sheet.  The Adhesive Sheet made adhering the swirl to the card front exceptionally easy.  The stars are from the stars in the swirl.
The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the Pure Gumption stamp set and has been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Basic White cardstock.

The Gold Foil stars are from the Star Swirl.

A Crushed Curry panel was adhered onto the back of the Basic White cardstock panel, followed by a Blackberry Bliss cardstock panel and then adhered onto the inside of the card.

Father’s Day Blog Hop

Welcome to Team Stamp It Groups Father's Day Blog Hop!

Whether you hopped onto my Blog from one of my teammates or started with my blog, I'm awfully glad you "hopped" by.

This card is made using the Hey Sports Fan Suite from the January to June Mini Catalog. I love the bright, vivid colors in this suite.
The card begins with a Real Red card base.

The next layer is a Night of Navy cardstock panel.

The top panel is from the Hey Sports Fan Designer Series Paper(DSP).

One of the flags was made using a piece of Real Red and Night of Navy cardstock.  The other flag was made using a piece of the Hey Sports Fan (DSP) and Real Red cardstock along with the Sports Event Dies.

The Night of Navy Star was cut out using one of the Stitched Stars dies.

The circle with the #1 in it was cut out twice, once using Very Vanilla cardstock and the second time using Real Red cardstock along with one of the Sports Event dies.  After it was cut out, the #1 was removed from the circle and the circle was adhered onto the Night of Navy star. The Real Red #1 was glued in place using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The "Ticket" stamp from the Your Biggest Fan stamp set was stamped onto Very Vanilla cardstock using Night of Navy ink.

The "Most Valuable Dad" sentiment is from the Your Biggest Fan stamp set and has been stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock using Real Red ink.

The "Happy Father's Day" sentiment is from the Home & Garden stamp set and has been stamped using Real Red ink.

Once everything on the "Ticket" was stamped the coordinating ticket die from the Sports Events dies was used to cut the "Ticket" out.

The "Best Day Ever" ticket is from the Hey Sports Fan DSP and has been cut out using the coordinating ticket die in the Sports Events dies.

Resins Stars were added to the card front for accent.
The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the On the Horizon stamp set and has been stamped in Real Red ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock.

Real Red and Night of Navy Stampin' Write Markers were used to color the star stamp from the Your Biggest Fan stamp set and then stamped onto the bottom corner of the card.

Night of Navy cardstock was adhered to the back of the Very Vanilla sentiment panel and then adhered onto the Real Red card base.
