Pansy Petals 2 - Mother's Day Card

This card was also made using the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper(DSP).

The card begins with a Basic White card base.  The next layer is Evening Evergreen cardstock.  The top panel is Pansy Petals DSP.

This card was made using various sized panels that have been backed with Evening Evergreen cardstock and then adhered onto the front of the card.  This technique is a great way to use up scraps of DSP you might have left.

The flowers and leaves were cut using the Pansy Dies and the Pansy Petals DSP and then adhered onto the front of the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin' Dimensionals.

The sentiment has been stamped in Evening Evergreen ink and is from the Daffodil Daydreams Stamp set.

A Bumblebee Trinkets were adhered onto the front of the card for accent.

The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the Blessings of Home stamp set and has been stamped in Evening Evergreen ink.  The pansy on the bottom corner of the card has been cut using the Pansy dies and the Pansy Petals DSP and then adhered onto the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my card and have been inspired to try some of my ideas on your own.  If you are looking for a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I would love it if you chose me as your demonstrator!  When you place an order in my online store you can earn Stampin’ Rewards that can be used for free and discounted products, or used toward your Starter Kit, if you are interested in becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator

Pansy Petals - Mother's Day Card

This beautiful card was made using the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper(DSP).

The card begins with a Basic White card base.  The next layer is Evening Evergreen cardstock.  The top panel is Pansy Petals DSP.

The Pansy Petals DSP comes in a packet of 12 sheets of patterned paper, two each of six double-sided designs.  All of the paper in the pack coordinate.  This card was made using various sized panels that have been backed with Evening Evergreen cardstock and then adhered onto the front of the card.  I love using this technique to show off the different patterns in the paper pack.  This technique is also a great way to use up some of the smaller scraps of DSP you might have left.

A Bumblebee Trinket was adhered onto the front of the card for accent.

Mother's Day Blog Hop

Welcome to Team Stamp It Groups Mother's Day Blog Hop! Whether you hopped onto my Blog from one of my teammates or started with my blog, I'm awfully glad you "hopped" by.

When I saw the Pop-up Vase technique on a card made by Jane Dooley, I knew I had to make it for my Mother's Day card
and I knew I had to use the Pansy Petals Suite.
The new Pansy Patch stamp set worked great for this card, along with it's Pansy Dies that coordinate with the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper (DSP). The Pansy Petals Suite will be available to purchase on May 4, 2021 with the launch of the new 2021-2022 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.

The Polished Pink card base is one of the new 2021-2023 In Colors and coordinates beautifully with the Pansy Petals Suite.

The pansies were cut out using the Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine along with the Pansy Dies and the Pansy Petals DSP.  The leaves and stems were cut out using the Pansy Dies, Soft Sea Foam and Evening Evergreen cardstock.  The Evening Evergreen cardstock is another one of the 2021-2123 In Colors.

The pansies, leaves and stems were all adhered onto the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, except for the larger pansy, it was adhered to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
When you open the card the vase rounds up and the flowers pop out.  When you close the card, the vase flattens out and the card closes flat. The greenery was made using the Forever Flourishing dies, Soft Sea Foam and Evening Evergreen cardstock.  The vase was made using In Good Taste DSP.

The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the Timeless Tulips and the Hydrangea Haven stamp sets.

I would love it if you would leave a comment or subscribe to my blog.  As an added incentive, if you leave a comment on my blog, and include your name and #stampitcontest in your comment, your name will be entered into a drawing to win the Simply Citrus Kit.
