Easter-Themed Quilt Card

After I made the beautiful True Blue Quilt card, I decided to give an Easter-themed Quilt card a try. This is what I came up with.

The card has a Basic White cardstock card base.

The Granny Apple Green cardstock panel has been embossed using the new Ladybug Picnic 3D Embossing Folder.

The Designer Series Paper is retired.

The egg basket is from the Easter Time Mix and Match Ephemera Pack.

The bird on a flower branch is from Softest Spring Mix and Match Puffy Stickers. Unfortunately, it appears the Softest Spring Mix and Match Puffy Stickers are no longer available.

The sentiment is from the Greetings For All Mix and Match Ephemera Pack.

Sparkle Dot Essentials were added for accent.

Fragrant Layers Birthday Card

This card was inspired by one of the Online Exclusive Fragrant Layers sample cards.

The card starts with a Basic White cardstock card base, followed by a Bubble Bath Two-Tone cardstock panel that was topped with a Basic White cardstock panel.

Using one of the Fragrant Layers dies the flowers attached to the card base were cut out with Basic White cardstock. Once cut out the die-cut pieces were removed and the skeleton was adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. A Light Bubble Bath Stampin' Blends was used to color the flower spaces.

The Basic White cardstock top panel was cut out using the framed floral die that is included in the Fragrant Layers die set. All of the die-cut pieces were removed leaving just the outline of the flowers and leaves. A Basic White cardstock panel that had been cut the slightly smaller than the framed floral die-cut panel was adhered to the back of the framed floral die-cut panel.

Once this backing was on the framed floral die-cut panel, the removed die-cut pieces were replaced with Bubble Bath, Daffodil Delight and Garden Green Two-Tone cardstock that had been cut out using the framed floral die. The pieces were adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The completed top panel was backed with a piece of Bubble Bath Two-Tone cardstock that is cut slightly larger than the top panel and then adhered onto the card front.

Valentine's Day Blog Hop

Welcome to the Team Stamp It Groups Valentine's Day Blog Hop!

Whether you hopped onto my blog from one of my teammates or started with my blog, I'm awfully glad you "hopped" by.

This beautiful Valentine's Day Shaker card was made using three of the new Stampin' Up! dies.

The card starts with a Basic White cardstock card base, followed by a Flirty Flamingo Two-Tone cardstock panel.

The next panel is from the Made with Love Designer Series Paper (DSP).

The center of the Basic White cardstock top panel was cut out using the second to the largest Beautifully Celebrated dies.

The Basic White cardstock filigree pieces were cut out using one of the Delicate Framing dies.

The Basic White cardstock heart is from the Endless Love dies.

The sentiment is from the Greetings For All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack.

Loose Valentine's Assortment mixed with some of the floral shaker bits from Day 10 of the 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calendar were used to make the "shaker" embellishments for the card.

To make the "shaker" part of the card, a piece of Window Sheet was adhered to the back-side of the front panel.

Next, Adhesive Foam Strips were adhered to the Window Sheet area where I wanted the shaker embellishments to be. Stampin' Dimensionals were added along the rest of the back of the front panel, in the corners and bigger open spaces.

About a teaspoon of shaker embellishments were added to the center of the Made with Love DSP panel. Once the embellishments were added, the front panel was centered and adhered onto the card front.

The Endless Love heart was adhered onto the Window Sheet.

The Happy Valentine's Day sentiment was adhered to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Pearlized Faceted Circles were added to the card front.

For the inside of the card, Flirty Flamingo Two-Tone cardstock was adhered to the card base, followed by a Basic White cardstock panel.

The heart cluster from the Endless Love stamp set was stamped in Flirty Flamingo ink.
