Let's Go Fishing #2

This card was inspired by a tackle box card that was made by Rachel Tessman.

This card starts with an Early Expresso cardstock card base.  The lower two corners of the card have been cut with a corner round punch.

The front of the card has a piece of the Let's Go Fishing Designer Series Paper (DSP) that also has the bottom two corners cut with a corner round punch adhered on top of the Early Espresso card front.

The sentiment on the front of the card is from the Gone Fishing stamp set and has been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on to Crumb Cake cardstock.

The fish hook is from the Gone Fishing dies and has been cut out in Basic Black cardstock.

To make the tackle box handle on the front of the card, I used three of the extra compartments that were created when I cut out the detailed tray for the inside of the card.

Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots were added to make the handle look like it was riveted onto the tackle box.
The inside of the card has two "trays" that pop up when you open the card. The "trays" are cut out of Crumb Cake cardstock using the Gone Fishing dies.

When you cut out the trays it works best if you cut the detailed tray die, the one with the compartments, twice and then using Multipurpose Liquid Glue glue them together.  Once they are glued together, then you can adhere it to the solid part of the tray.

The upper tray is the same as the bottom tray, except we are using only half of the tray.
Here's a front on look at the inside of the card.

The sentiment is from the retired Best Catch stamp set and has been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

The lures and bobber were first stamped in Smoky Slate ink onto Basic White cardstock using the Gone Fishing stamp set.  Most of the lures were a two-step stamp and the colors that I used for the second step are listed in the supply list below.

The flasher was cut out using Silver Foil sheet.
