Irresistible Designs Birthday

Have you seen the Irresistible Designs Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP)? It is located on page 116 of the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog. I think it is one of the best hidden gems in the new catalog.

The Irresistible Designs Specialty DSP has UV-coated patterns that resist ink, making it perfect for emboss-resist techniques. It's the easiest way to get a heat-embossed look, with no embossing powder or heat tool needed! All you do is apply ink, like I did for this card, and the pattern pops out!

To make this card, the following colors were applied using a Blending Brush; Summer Splash, Fresh Freesia, Strawberry Slush, Granny Apple Green, Darling Duckling and Timid Tiger.

The raised flowers were made using the Impressions Abloom dies along with Daffodil Delight, Real Red and Cherry Cobbler Two-Tone DSP.

The sentiment is from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set and has been stamped in Secret Sea ink onto Basic White cardstock.

The front panel was adhered to a Basic White cardstock panel which was then adhered to a Timid Tiger cardstock card base.

Iridescent Faceted Gems were added for accent.

Here's a peek at the inside of the card.

The Basic White cardstock panel was adhered to a slightly larger Timid Tiger cardstock panel and then adhered onto the card base.

The sentiment has been stamped in Secret Sea ink and is from the retired Sunny Sentiments stamp set.

The flower is from the Impressions Abloom stamp set and has been stamped in Strawberry Slush, Crushed Curry and Early Espresso ink.

Father's Day Blog Hop

Welcome to the Team Stamp It Groups Father's Day Theme Blog Hop!

Whether you hopped onto my blog from one of my teammates or started with my blog, I'm awfully glad you "hopped" by.

For today's blog hop, I have made a fun sailing card using the Sunrise Sailing bundle.

Basic White cardstock was used for the card base, followed by a Secret Sea panel. The top panel is Balmy Blue cardstock.

The waves were made using one of the stamps from the Sunrise Sailing stamp set along with Balmy Blue ink.

The largest sailboat has been stamped in Secret Sea ink.

The stripes on the sails were stamped in Real Red ink.

Once inked, the sailboat was cut out using the Sunrise Sailing Hybrid Embossing Folder along with the coordinating Sunrise Sailing die. The hybrid embossing folder added dimension to the sailboat. The sailboat was adhered onto the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The other two sailboats were cut out using Secret Sea cardstock and Sunrise Sailing dies.

The seagulls were stamped in Secret Sea ink using one of the Sunrise Sailing stamps.

The "Happy Father's Day" sentiment is from the Trusty Tools stamp set and has been stamped in Secret Sea ink.

For the inside of the card, a Secret Sea panel was adhered onto the Basic White cardstock card base.

A Basic White cardstock panel was adhered on top of the Secret Sea panel.

The sailboat was stamped as outlined above.

The water was stamped in Secret Sea ink using the wave stamp from the Sunrise Sailing stamp set.
