This was a fun and easy card to make. The inspiration for this card came from a card I saw on Pinterest that was made by Linda Dodge.
The card starts with a Cajun Craze card base.
The top panel has had all of the panel covered with Stampin' Up! Masking Paper except for 1 1/2" on the lower third of the card.
In the unmasked area the following colors of ink pads were used along with a Blending Brush to add the fall colors. The colors used were Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry and Mossy Meadow. After I was done color blending, the Stampin' Up! Masking Paper was removed and the panel was laid aside to dry.
Once the blended colors were dry, the leaves were heat embossed onto the area of the blended colors using VersaMark ink, one of the leaf stamps from the Splendid Thoughts stamp set and Gold Embossing Powder.
The butterflies were also heat embossed using Gold Embossing Powder and the butterfly stamp from the Daffodil Daydreams stamp set.
The sentiment is from the Banner Year stamp set, which is a retired stamp set, and has been heat embossed onto Basic White cardstock using Gold Embossing Powder.
Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added randomly on the card for accent.
The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the Hello Harvest stamp set and has been stamped in Cajun Craze ink.
The butterflies are the same butterflies that were used on the front of the card and have also been heat embossed using Gold Embossing Powder.
