Halloween and Fall Theme Blog Hop

Welcome to Team Stamp It Groups Halloween and Fall Theme Blog Hop!

Whether you hopped onto my Blog from one of my teammates or started with my blog, I'm awfully glad you "hopped" by.
This card was made using the Scary Cute stamp set along with the Scary Silhouettes and Aspen Tree dies.

The card starts with a Basic Black card base.

The moon was made by cutting a piece of Stampin' Up! Masking Paper using the
approximately 1 3/4" Layering Circle die.  Once the Masking Paper circle was adhered to Basic White panel, the panel was colored with a Blending Brush using Balmy Blue, Pacific Point, Night of Navy ink.

When the desired color for the "sky" was achieved, the Stampin' Up! Masking Paper circle was removed from the panel and the moon was colored using Crushed Curry ink and a Blending Brush.

The spooky house from the Scary Silhouettes dies was adhered to the moon panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The aspen trees were cut out using the Aspen Tree dies in both Basic Black and Basic White cardstock.  Before cutting out the Basic White aspen trees, Tuxedo Black Memento ink was applied to the cutting edge of the die and then the die and Basic White cardstock were ran through the Stampin' Cut and Emboss machine.  I love the look this technique gives to the aspen trees.

The Basic Black aspen tree panel was adhered, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, behind the Basic White aspen tree panel, offsetting the Basic Black panel slightly to give a shadow appearance to the trees.  This panel was then adhered onto the "moon" panel using Black Stampin' Dimensionals.

The little trick or treaters are from the Scary Cute stamp set and have been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink, fussy cut and then adhered onto the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

"BOO!" was made using the Alphabest stamp set. The letters were first stamped in VersaMark ink onto Basic Black cardstock and then heat embossed using White Embossing Powder.  After the letters were embossed they were cut out using the Best Label Punch. The Alphabest stamp set and the Best Label Punch are sold as a bundle or can be purchased separately.  The "B" and "!" were adhered to the card front panel using Black Stampin' Dimensionals.  The "O's" were adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The bats were cut out using the bat dies from the Scary Silhouettes dies and Metallic and Shimmer Specialty Paper. They were adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Matte Black Dots were randomly added to the card front for accent.
Here's a look at the inside of the card.

The Trick or Treaters, bats and the sentiment are all from the Scary Cute stamp set and have been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto a Basic White cardstock panel.
