When I saw the Stylish Sketches stamp set the first thing that came to my mind were the ducks we gave on our farm. They are so funny and bring us a lot of amusement.
This card has been water-colored using the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, Water Painters, Stampin' Up! ink pads and Watercolor Pencils.
The ducks were stamped in Jet Black StazOn ink. StazOn ink seems to work the best with water-coloring in that it does not bleed into the ink colors. The Stylish Sketches stamp set is available as one of the FREE Sale-A-Bration Products until August 31, 2022 or while supplies last.
The ducks were colored using Stampin' Up! Watercolor Pencils.
The "grass" has been colored using Mossy Meadow and Old Olive ink.
The sky was colored using Balmy Blue ink.
Once everything had dried, the third from the largest Deckled Rectangle die was used to cut out the top panel. A bone folder was used to "curl" up the corners of this panel.
The next panel is from the Design a Daydream Host Designer Series Paper (DSP) and was cut out using the second to the largest Deckled Rectangle die. This DSP is only available to Hosts.
The first panel is Balmy Blue cardstock and the card base is Basic White Thick cardstock.
The sentiment is from the Go To Greeting stamp set and has been stamped onto Basic White cardstock using Balmy Blue ink.
The sentiment was cut out using the Stylish Shapes dies.
Here's a peek at the inside of the card. The duck as been stamped and water-colored as outlined above.
