Today's card is a slimline card made using the Rustic Harvest Suite. This card was inspired by a card on page 48 of the July - December 2022 Mini Catalog.
The card base is Cajun Craze cardstock, followed by a Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper (DSP) panel.
The top panel is Basic White cardstock that has been randomly stamped using the leaf stamp from the Hello Harvest Stamp set.
The swirly lines were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and are also from the Hello Harvest Stamp set.
The sentiment is from the Hello Harvest stamp set and has been stamped in Saddle Brown Stazon ink onto a piece of the Rustic Harvest DSP and then stamped again in VersaMark ink. Once it was stamped in the VersaMark ink, it was heat embossed using Clear Embossing Powder. The Stamparatus made lining up the sentiment, when stamping multiple times, a breeze.
The Rustic Harvest Suite comes with an Embossing Additions Tool Kit which includes an Embossing Buddy, a Powder Pal, an awesome pair of Crafting Tweezers and a Crafting Brush. All of these came in very handy when doing the Heat Embossing, especially the Crafting Tweezers.
After the sentiment panel was heat embossed it was cut out using the coordinating label die from the Rustic Pumpkin Dies and adhered onto the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Amber Gems from the Leaf Label & Amber Gem Combo Pack were used as accents on this card.
Here's a peek at the inside of the card.
The leaves on the inside of the card were made using the baby wipe "ink pad" technique. The baby wipe technique is done by folding a baby wipe into a small square. Once the baby wipe was folded, Old Olive, Merry Merlot, Pumpkin Pie, Tahitian Tide and Crushed Curry re-inker were randomly dripped on the baby wipe square. The baby wipe square was then used like a stamp pad with the leaf stamp from the Hello Harvest Stamp set.
This card will fit perfectly into the Slimline Envelopes.
