Christmas Table Placeholders

Every year for about the last 10 years, I have made Christmas Placeholders for the residents of our local Long Term Care Unit for their Christmas Dinner.

These are what I came up with for this years dinner!

The treat boxes and bows were cut out using a Scan and Cut machine along with svg patterns from My Scrap Chick.

The treat boxes are filled with various types of chocolate.

The paper used was retired Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper.

I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Safe, Healthy New Year!

Thanksgiving Table Placeholders

Every year for about the last 10 years, I have made Thanksgiving Placeholders for the residents of our local Long Term Care Unit for their Thanksgiving Dinner.

These are what I came up with for this years dinner!

In case you can't tell, they are acorn treat boxes. The acorns have been filled with assorted fall themed chocolates and caramels.

The boxes were cut out using a Scan and Cut machine along with an Acorn Box pattern from My Scrap Chick.
I hope you have a restful and blessed Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Placeholders

These cute Pilgrim Table Placeholders were made for the residents of the Long Term Care Unit at the hospital I work at Thanksgiving dinner.
They were made using an .svg file from My Scrap Chick and were cut out using my ScanNCut machine.
The link to My Scrap Chick's website is linked here

Here is a look at each of the treat boxes close up.

And a side view.

Stampin' Up! products were used to make all of the pilgrim treat boxes.  The pumpkin on the front of the treat box is from the Pick of the Patch Bundle.

Here's a side view of the pilgrim girl.

These pilgrims were easy and fun to make.

Sweet Gingerbread Placeholders

Aren't these the cutest little gingerbread houses??!!

I made them for the Christmas dinner  that is being held for the Long Term Care Unit at the hospital I work at.

The Christmas Table Placeholder Gingerbread House has a Kraft Paper base.

The icing on the house and around the windows and door have been heat embossed using White Embossing Powder.

The snow around the roof is White Glimmer paper.

The gumdrops were cut out of Rainbow Glimmer paper.

The wreath is fairly small and was colored using Real Red, Old Olive and Mossy Meadow Stampin' Write Markers and then cut out using the coordinating Gingerbread house dies.

The candy canes were cut out using the Sweetest Candy dies along with the Sweetest Christmas Designer Series Paper (DSP).

The "snow" along the bottom of the house and on the chimney was made using Snowfall Accents Puff Paint.

Here's a look at the front and back of the houses. The sentiment is from the Sweet Gingerbread stamp set and has been stamped in Bermuda Bay ink.
Each of the houses had a couple Sweet Stripes Soft Peppermint Candies and a Ferrero Chocolate tucked inside.

I hope you enjoyed my project for today.
