Christmas Sleigh and Thanksgiving Turkeys

The Activities Director for the long term care unit of the hospital that I work for asked me if I could make the decorations that would go on the table placards for the Long Term Care residents Christmas Dinner.  This is what I came up with, I have to admit the pictures don't do them justice, they were beautiful. These were made using the Sleigh Ride Photopolymer Stamp set and matching thinlits dies. The reindeer are either on Whisper White cardstock or Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper.  The sleigh was made using either Whisper White cardstock with Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper or Silver Foil Sheets with Silver Glimmer paper.

They had also asked me to help out for Thanksgiving.  This is what I came up with for their Thanksgiving table placards.
I didn't get a picture of the whole pile of sleighs but here's one of all the turkeys.

Christmas Holiday Blog Hop

Welcome to Team Stamp It’s Christmas Holiday Blog hop!  Whether you are beginning your blog hop journey at my blog or if you have arrived here from GiannaSardella’s awesome blog.  We are glad you are here.  Be sure to visit all of the blog hop participants beautiful projects by using the previous and next buttons on each post.

When you see this card doesn't it make you want to break out in a round of Jingle Bells?  Dashing through the snow....this card is so easy to make but it has a lot of WOW power.

Christmas is my favorite holiday.  I love the smell of Christmas, the lights of Christmas and the excitement and anticipation of Christmas.  I love singing Christmas Carols, which is probably why I like the Sleigh Ride Edgelits die that I used to make this shaker card. To make this card I used Night of Navy and Whisper White cardstock.  The "scene" was made with Dazzling Diamonds and Silver Glimmer paper, along with a Silver Foil sheet.  I made the "snow" with Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter.

This card was made with Night of Navy and Whisper White cardstock.  I used the Stampin' UP! 2-way glue pen along the cut edge of the Whisper White "scenes" and then sprinkled the glue area with Dazzling Diamonds glitter.  Next I colored the houses, trees and horse drawn sleigh with Stampin' Write markers.  The bow was made with white 3/8" Glitter Ribbon.

To make this last card I used Whisper White, Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Smoky Slate cardstock. The embossing was done using a Fun Frames embossing folder.  The flowers were stamped using the Awesomely Artistic stamp set, coloring the flowers with Stampin' Write markers.  The "Merry" was cut using the Christmas Greetings thinlits die and the "Christmas" which is accented with the tiniest of the Pearl Basic Jewels is from the Embellished Ornaments stamp set.
