This beautiful Valentine's card starts with a Thick Basic White cardstock card base, followed by a Basic White cardstock panel and then a Real Red cardstock top panel that had been embossed using the Softly Sophisticated 3D Embossing Folder.
The Softly Sophisticated 3D Embossing Folder is part of a bundle that includes the Softly Sophisticated stamp set and is one of the FREE Sale-A-Bration offerings when you purchase $100 of Stampin' Up! product.
The Basic White cardstock hearts and the ornate Real Red hearts were cut out using dies that are part of the Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder.
I found the best way to adhere the ornate filigree hearts is to add Adhesive Sheet to the back of the Real Red cardstock before you cut out the ornate heart. This way you don't have to mess with trying to not get glue where you did not want it to go on the tiny details of the heart.
If you are not familiar with the Hybrid Embossing Folders, they are an embossing folder that is made to be used at the same time as you are using the
coordinating dies. The embossing folders and coordinating dies can also be
used separately. On this card, the dies were used separately.
Once the hearts were cut out and assembled, they were adhered onto the front of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
The sentiment is from the Country Bouquet stamp set and has been stamped in Real Red ink onto Basic White cardstock. The sentiment panel was cut out using one of the Labels Aglow dies.
A Real Red ribbon was wrapped around the card front panel and then
tied into a bow.
Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added randomly to the card front.
The inside of the card has the Thick Basic White card base followed by a Real Red cardstock panel and then topped with a Basic White cardstock panel.
The sentiment is from the Country Bouquet stamp set and has been stamped in Real Red ink.
The hearts around the sentiment are from the Bee My Valentine stamp set and have been stamped in Real Red ink.
The Real Red cardstock ornate heart was cut out using one of the Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing folder dies.
