This card was made using one of the Two-Tone Flora dies.
Do you recognize it?
The outer part of the die was cut away leaving only the center of the design.
I love how the card turned out.
The card begins with a Thick Basic White card base, followed by a Starry Sky cardstock panel, then a Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper (DSP) panel.
Prior to cutting out the Basic White cardstock Two-Tone Flora design, the cardstock was backed with Stampin' Up! Adhesive sheet. The Adhesive Sheet enables you to adhere the intricate designs like the Two-Tone Flora to the card.
After the Two-Tone design was cut out, but before adhering it to the card front, using Paper Snips all of the partial designs were cut away, leaving only the complete flowers intact.
The sentiment is from the Flowering Tulips stamp set and has been stamped in Starry Sky ink onto Basic White cardstock. The sentiment panel was backed with a piece of Starry Sky cardstock and then adhered to the cardstock panel using Stampin' Seal.
Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels were added randomly to the card front for accent.
A Starry Sky panel was adhered onto the inside of the card base. This panel was topped with a Basic White cardstock panel that has been stamped with a sentiment from the Pansy Patch stamp set in Starry Sky ink.
The flower is from the Hues of Happiness DSP and was cut out using the coordinating Blossoming Happiness die.
The Hues of Happiness DSP and the coordinating Blooming Happiness dies are set to retire soon and are only available while supplies last.
