Have you seen the Rain or Shine Suite in the January - April 2023 Mini Catalog??
Oh my goodness, it is so stinking cute! Everything about this suite is adorable.
For me, the rain theme really hits home. We live in the rain forest of SE Alaska, the area we live in averages approximately 13 feet of rain per year.
No matter how you look at it, we get a lot of rain, which makes me just love this rainy little suite!
This card starts out with a Thick Basic White card base, followed by a Rain or Shine Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) panel that has been cut out using one of the Picture This dies.
The Rain or Shine DSP has a touch of glossy coating to give the raindrops a realistic look.
The animals, clouds and flowers are also from the Rain or Shine DSP. All of the items in the circles were fussy cut so that part of the "scene" is extended beyond the circle and onto the card front panel.
The sentiment is from the Playing in the Rain stamp set and has been stamped in Balmy Blue ink onto part of a rain puddle from the Rain or Shine DSP. Once stamped the sentiment was then fussy cut and adhered onto the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Here's a peek at the inside of the card.
The flower border along the bottom of the card was fussy cut from the Rain or Shine DSP.
